The short version
The Lucky Draw is a chance to win a real prize — like a 20,000 won KFC gift card — using the points you earn on Waegook. It does not cost money. You only spend points.
First, where do points come from?
You earn points for using Waegook: things like signing in each day, posting, and inviting friends. Those points are yours to keep. For the full picture, read: https://waegook.com/post?slug=how-points-work-on-waegook-and-how-to-earn-them-480a67
Think of it like a raffle
Imagine a raffle at a school or a church. Everyone drops tickets into a basket, and at the end one ticket is pulled out. Whoever's ticket is picked wins the prize.
On Waegook, your points are your tickets. 1 point = 1 ticket = 1 chance. You choose how many points to put in. The more tickets you add, the better your chance — but everyone who enters has a chance to win.
A quick example
Say 5 people enter a KFC gift-card draw, with 100 tickets in total:
- You put in 50 points, so 50 of the 100 tickets are yours. That is a 50% chance.
- Someone who puts in 10 points has a 10% chance.
How to enter, step by step
- Open the Lucky Draw page (in the menu).
- Pick a prize that is open for entries.
- Tap "Enter", choose how many points to use, and confirm.
- Your points become your tickets. (Points are spent when you enter.)
- On the draw date, a winner is picked automatically and fairly. If you win, we will let you know.
What if I do not win — do I get my points back?
No. When you enter, your points are used to buy your tickets, just like buying real raffle tickets. You do not get them back, whether you win or not, so only put in what you are happy to use. The one exception: if a draw is ever cancelled, your points are returned to you.
That is all there is to it. Earn points by using Waegook, then use them for a chance to win free stuff. Good luck!
