What do I need?
- Application form, self-introduction and study plan, printed after the online application. Attach the printed envelope cover to your papers
- High school graduation (or expected) certificate, notarised translation original. Final admits file the apostilled or consular-confirmed final certificate by the deadline, or no admission letter and the admission can be cancelled
- High school transcript for every year, with a note on the grading scale (graduates: final; expected graduates: all semesters so far). Korean or overseas Korean high schools: also the 생활기록부 (school-violence check)
- Passport copy (local ID copy if none; notarised translation if not in English); alien registration card copy if you hold one
- Parents' passport copies (or other nationality proof) and a notarised translation original proving your relation (hukou, birth or family certificate). Online papers only if verifiable
- Language proof for your track, valid on the closing date; and the original bank balance certificate (see the notes)
- If it applies: divorce judgment naming custody (plus remarriage and hukou papers), a death certificate, or proof that Korean nationality was lost or renounced
- A foreign school in Korea: the education office's approval of the school, papers showing the whole 12-year course (diplomas, transcripts), and papers explaining any gap from changing schools (guide p.8)
- Schools in China, as printed: general high schools "중국 교육부 발행 학력인증보고서(영문)와 졸업장 사본" (expected graduates: notarised expected certificate); "일반계 고등학교 : ‘중국 교육부 운영 학력·학위 인증센터(CHSI) 발행’ 학위인증보고서만 인정"
- Vocational schools in China (普通中专, 职业高中): the local education authority's certificate, or the school's own certificate confirmed by the education bureau, either with a school information form (guide p.13)
- Skilled workers schools in China (技工学校): a MOHRSS online check plus apostille plus the notarised (expected) certificate. Other schools: the school's own notarised certificate plus its licence copy (guide p.13)
- Chinese nationals, as printed: "본인의 현지 신분증 사본(번역공증 불필요)"; "본인 및 부·모의 신분증 사본(필수)"; "친족관계증명서(최근 1년 이내에 발급 서류를 번역공증)"
THE BANK BALANCE IS 20,000,000 WON OR MORE (10,000,000 won for applicants in Korea): an original certificate issued within 30 days of the visa application; reissue it if older. Whose name it must be in is not printed.
It goes in at registration with the apostilled certificates (Fall 2026: 26 May to 2 June, or 14 to 21 July 2026). The standard admission letter needs it.
Printed for one country, copied whole: "우즈베키스탄 국적 지원자는 해당 국가 금융기관(KDB)에서 발행한 잔고증명서 제출(대한민국 거주자는 국내 금융기관 발행 증명서 제출 가능)".
In English: Uzbek nationals file a balance certificate issued by a financial institution (KDB) in that country; those living in Korea may file one from a Korean bank.
Expected graduates of schools in Japan, as printed: "졸업예정증명서로 표준입학허가서 발급이 가능. (단, 입학 후 개강일로부터 8주 이내에 최종 졸업증명서(아포스티유 필수)를 제출 필수)", if the diploma is issued in March.
Application fee 100,000 won (130,000 won with the Anyang Korean test, which costs 30,000 won). Not refunded unless the school cancels the selection.
After the final result the school may ask your last school to confirm your record (you consent when applying); if no reply comes, the admission can be cancelled.
Different names on your papers: add a certificate from that government that they are the same person. Early graduation, a skipped year, lost records or a renamed school: add a letter from that school (guide p.14).
On the form: your English name as in your passport, and your school and GPA exactly as on your certificates (do not round). False papers or cheating cancel the admission, even after entry, and paid tuition is not refunded.
School and nationality papers are originals and are not returned. Government scholarship holders may agree certified copies in advance, and once registered file apostilled or consular-confirmed originals later (guide p.14).
Applicants living in Korea may also be asked for an alien registration fact certificate or a domestic residence report certificate. The office may add or drop papers for you.
Fall 2026: results online on 26 May and 14 July 2026; admission letters 9 June and 28 July; classes began 1 September 2026. Instructions come by e-mail after the results.
Dormitory: the guide prints no cost. The international office's Global Village hall charged enrolled students 800,000 won plus a 50,000 won deposit a semester (notice of 2026-08-18); whether new students can apply is not printed.
Undated visa page: a bachelor's is 4 years (8 semesters); part-time work only with immigration permission, after the international office signs the work form.

- KOREAN (one of): TOPIK 3 or higher; King Sejong Institute intermediate 1 completed or Sejong Korean test (SKA) 296 or higher; KIIP level 3 completed (or pre-test 61 or higher)
- SELECTION: documents 100%, interview 0% (guide table). A video interview is scheduled for every round and checks the documents and language ability

- Timing hint only: the Spring 2026 guide for this route was posted on the admissions office board (enter.anyang.ac.kr) on 26 October 2025. Watch that board as well as the international office board
- Spring 2026 applications ran 27 October to 3 November 2025 (round 1) and 15 to 22 December 2025 (round 2). These are not Spring 2027 dates
- You and both parents are foreign nationals, all of you since before you began high-school-level study. If any of you gave up Korean nationality, file proof. With one supporting parent, only that parent's nationality counts
- No Korean nationals (you or a parent), no dual nationals, and no current Anyang students (enrolled or on leave)
- SCHOOLING: 12 years or more of regular primary, middle and high school. GED, school-leaving exams (검정고시), homeschooling, cyber learning, adult and lifelong education do not count
- Schools in Korea count only if accredited by the Ministry of Education; a foreign school in Korea counts with extra papers. Parents divorced before high school: papers must show the custodial parent is not Korean; after it: papers for both
- Language scores must be within the validity the test body sets, counted on the application closing date
- One department only. After the deadline you cannot change the department or cancel. Places: "a few" per unit, and the school may select no one
- TO GRADUATE: TOPIK 4 or higher (the English track is exempt). Students without TOPIK 3 must finish the Korean training programme the university runs (the guide calls it paid, 유료, and prints no fee)
- TUITION, 2026 rates (2027 may change), no period printed: humanities and social 3,753,000; engineering 4,695,000; natural sciences 4,503,000; arts and PE 4,714,000 won. No entrance fee is printed
- Tuition goes only to the Shinhan Bank account on your bill; no credit cards; overseas payers add the transfer charge. Fall 2026: full refund if you withdrew by 14 August 2026, 15:00
- Freshmen cannot take leave in their first semester. National Health Insurance: international students join as regional members; private cover is advised for what it does not pay
- Not paying in the registration window counts as giving up the place. The admission is cancelled if you do not follow the steps, your papers are too incomplete to assess, or Korea refuses your visa
