What do I need?
- Application form, personal statement and study plan on the office's forms; one colour photo 4 by 5 cm
- High school or university diploma and transcript with an apostille; enrolment certificate if you are a student
- Original bank balance certificate
- ID copies of you and every family member, a family relationship certificate (Hukou rules for China), and parents' income or employment proof, translated
- Passport copy (and alien registration card if in Korea)
- A school recommendation, or a guarantor for individual applicants
THE BANK BALANCE IS 10,000,000 WON OR MORE (the older English site says USD 3,000).
Costs, 2023 basis, for 20 weeks: tuition 2,400,000; textbooks 150,000; insurance for six months 62,000; application fee 50,000. Ten weeks: 1,200,000 plus 75,000 textbooks.
Dormitory for language students, 2024 basis: double room 995,000 won for 20 weeks plus two meals a day 568,000 and an 11,000 deposit.
D-4 holders join national health insurance automatically after six months in Korea.

- Twelve or more years of school, abroad or at a foreign school in Korea
- APPLY THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE START. The first semester runs March to July, the second September to January; the online form lists March, May, September and November entries
- Exact term dates are not published on the school's pages (the English schedule page still shows 2012 dates); ask [email protected]
- Selection is 100% documents
- Individual applicants without a school recommendation name a guarantor
- Prices are "2023 first semester basis" and may change each year
