What can I study?

Published by Cheongju University. Which of these a scholarship covers is decided by the school.

What do I need?

• Application form (tick the dormitory request) and the personal statement with study plan on the office's form
• High school (or college) graduation certificate and enrolment certificate with transcript
• Final-education verification: China, the Ministry of Education report; Vietnam, the Vietnamese mission in Korea; elsewhere an apostille or consular confirmation
• Proof of foreign nationality: citizenship or passport copies of you and both parents
• Family relationship certificate issued by a foreign government
• Financial proof (see the note) and one ID photo
• Transfers: credit recognition table in Korean by the deadline; in Korea, alien registration card and the Korean centre transcript with attendance
• TOPIK score if you have one

THE BANK BALANCE IS 16,000,000 WON OR CNY 90,000 or more (Fall 2026 guide). The 2027 guide names the financial proof but prints no amount yet.

Application fee 70,000 won (Fall 2026 guide; the older web page says 50,000, 70,000 for arts and sports).

Dormitory, 16 weeks: Wooam Village double 852,000; Yeji Hall double 938,000; International Hall quad 683,000 won; key deposit 50,000; meals 630,000 for two a day.

All requirements

• You and both parents are foreign nationals, taken before you started high school. Dual nationals cannot apply
• You finished 12 years of school and graduated (or will) from high school, abroad or at a foreign school in Korea. Shorter systems count if you did the last three years there
• TOPIK 3 OR NOTHING: without TOPIK 3 you are still admitted and take an intensive Korean course in your first two semesters (16 elective credits each). Transfers do 300 hours of online Korean within a year
• Selection is an online interview, 100%; everyone scoring 60 of 100 is admitted. Arts and sports send a portfolio before the interview. No quota
• TOPIK 4 is needed to graduate (3 for arts and sports)
• Closed to pure foreigners in 2027: nursing and every clinical health department, mathematics and Korean education, aviation operations and service, military studies, undeclared, landscape architecture
• The figures on this card (fee, tuition, bank balance) come from the Fall 2026 guide; the Spring 2027 guide with 2027 figures is expected around late October 2026
• No English track. A Chinese bilingual track exists for third and fourth-year transfers from Chinese-speaking countries
