What do I need?
- Online application with a photo at korean.cau.ac.kr/apply
- Passport valid six months or more, and an ID card copy
- Graduation certificate (highest level) with an apostille or consular legalisation, issued within six months of the visa request, plus the three-year high school transcript
- Official bank statement
- Parents' employment, income or business papers (applicants from outside the OECD), and parents' ID plus relationship proof if the account is a parent's
- Proof of activity if more than a year has passed since graduation; TOPIK if you have it
THE BANK BALANCE IS 10,000,000 WON, issued within 30 days of the expected visa request. Uzbekistan: deposited at a Korean bank branch in Uzbekistan and kept three months.
Application fee 100,000 won, paid with the tuition after acceptance (Seoul two terms plus fee: 3,500,000 won). Textbooks 56,000 to 60,000 won a term, insurance and housing extra.
Dormitory, subject to change: Seoul Global House shared room about 800,000 won a ten-week term; Da Vinci 860,000 won a term.

- Foreigners and overseas Koreans who finished high school or equivalent
- FOR A D-4 VISA YOU REGISTER FOR TWO TERMS (six months). Applicants from Vietnam, Myanmar, Mongolia and Uzbekistan register four terms (one year) with original papers
- One term is possible only without a visa application. Maximum stay two years
- Application deadlines differ by country: earliest for Vietnam, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, Myanmar and Bangladesh, latest for China and Japan
- Finishing level 4 here meets the Korean standard for Chung-Ang undergraduate admission and earns a 30% first-semester scholarship; level 5 earns 50%
