What do I need?

• Application form printed after applying online at uwayapply
• High school graduation or expected graduation certificate
• High school transcript with a percentage or full-mark scale
• Government proof of the parent-child relationship and of nationality (China: notarised kinship certificate; Japan: family register; USA: birth certificate)
• ID copies of you and both parents, plus your passport copy and alien registration card if you hold one
• TOPIK certificate or a Korean institute completion certificate, if you have one
• English test score for Game Convergence; portfolio for units that ask for one
• Medicine only: self-introduction and study plan written online in Korean
• Optional activity evidence and language scores (TOEIC, TOEFL, IELTS, JLPT, HSK), translated but not notarised

THE BANK STATEMENT IS NOT PART OF THE APPLICATION. Admitted students show 20,000,000 won (or 14,000 USD, 100,000 CNY, 370,000,000 VND) in their own or a parent's name, issued within 30 days of the visa request; Chinese bank money stays frozen until 31 March 2027.

Application fee 150,000 won (medicine too); 200,000 for arts and sports; 60,000 for a second choice; 30,000 for a preliminary admittee re-applying. Not refunded after the window closes.

Dormitory, 2026 rates for 16 weeks: Seoul Blue Mir Hall double 1,366,400, quad 952,000 won; Da Vinci single 1,280,000, double from 899,000 won.

All requirements

• You and both parents are foreign nationals when you apply. A Korean dual national in the family rules you out; a former Korean counts only if the whole family changed nationality before high school
• You graduate (or will) from a regular high school. Cyber schooling, a GED-type equivalency exam or a self-study degree is NOT accepted
• KOREAN STANDARD: TOPIK 4 (TOPIK 3 for Design, Practical Music, Game Contents and Animation); or level 4 at the Chung-Ang institute; or level 5 at another certified institute; or Sejong intermediate 2; or a Korean high school
• NO SCORE YET? You can still apply. If your documents pass you get a PRELIMINARY admission and enter once you reach TOPIK 4 within two years, by re-applying to the same unit
• Medicine needs TOPIK 6 and an interview (round 1 only). Convergence Engineering needs TOPIK 5. Game Convergence is the English track: TOEFL iBT 60 (3.5 new scale) or IELTS 5.5, or an English-language high school
• You may list a first and a second choice (60,000 won extra). Arts and Sports units only as first choice
• Selection is 100% documents, except medicine (50% interview) and arts and sports (50% practical or portfolio)
• Pharmacy, nursing, law and education units are not in the unit table, so they are closed to this track
