A scholarship below can remove the tuition line.
What can I study?
- Korean Medicine (M, D, I): Korean course or English course (★ in the guide). Regular-track applicants need the department head's recommendation; the foreign track prints no such line
- Also an industry-academy course with the Korea Institute of Oriental Medicine and the National Institute for Korean Medicine Development (regular track; recommendation of the institute head)
Published by Daegu Haany University. Which of these a scholarship covers is decided by the school.
What do I need?
- Application form, personal-information consent and study and research plan: entered online, then the printed originals handed in (★)
- Degree (or expected) certificate and transcript, 2 originals each, also attached as PDF online (★). Apostille-convention countries: an apostille on both; other countries: Korean consular or your embassy's confirmation
- Degrees from China, as printed: graduates file a CHSI report (English printout), degree and graduation certificates and transcript (originals; Chinese with notarised translation); expected graduates CHSI report, enrolment proof, transcript
- Passport copy with 1 year or more of validity. As printed: "우즈베키스탄 국적 학생은 국제여권 제출" (students of Uzbek nationality file an international passport)
- Bank balance certificate, original (figures and country lines in the notes)
- Proof of both parents' foreign nationality (copies of their passports or ID cards)
- Family relation proof: birth certificate or family relation certificate with notarised translation. As printed for China: "친족관계증명서 번역공증 원본" (a notarised kinship certificate, original)
- Language proof: an official Korean or (where it applies) English score report issued within 2 years of the deadline
- Alien registration card copy, front and back, if you live in Korea
- Expected graduates may file an enrolment certificate when no expected-graduation certificate can be issued, then the final certificate later. Certificates issued within 6 months of the application date
BANK BALANCE: 16,000,000 won or more in your or a parent's name, issued within 1 month of filing. Current Daegu Haany students (bachelor's or master's) may file 8,000,000 won from a Korean bank. USD counts at the issue-date rate.
Printed for named countries: "중국 : 예금잔고증명서 유효기간이 최소 30일 이상 남아있어야 함" (China: 30 days of validity left); "베트남, 우즈벡 : ... 최소 90일 이상" (Vietnam, Uzbekistan: 90 days). Alien card holders in Korea file their own Korean bank certificate.
The family relation papers and the bank certificate may come as late as 8 January 2027 (registration deadline); everything else by 11 November 2026, 17:00.
Withdrawing the application and asking the fee back is possible only inside the application window (26 October to 6 November 2026); after it the fee and the papers are not returned.
ENTRANCE FEE 780,000 WON, ONCE, on top of tuition; waived in full for Daegu Haany University graduates (charged to everyone else).
Tuition in the 외국인 table is the 2026 rate and may change for 2027. The table prints no period; the dormitory line next to it says "한 학기" (one semester).
The English guide prints lower master's figures for the Public Health and Welfare and K-MEDI schools (4,000,000 and 4,500,000 won); the Korean guide (4,500,000 and 5,000,000) is used here.
Admission letter (표준입학허가서) after tuition and all papers; expected graduates only after the graduation certificate and degree verification. Applicants abroad get a scan by e-mail or the original by post and apply for the visa themselves.
Applicants abroad apply for the student visa at the Korean embassy in their country with a passport valid 2 years or more, and must tell the graduate office at once if the passport number changes. The visa is your own responsibility; the school issues the admission letter and may file papers for you when needed.
A refused visa after paying tuition: file the waiver before the semester starts for a full refund. Applicants in Korea must change or extend their status before it expires.
