Published by Daegu Haany University. Which of these a scholarship covers is decided by the school.

What do I need?

• Application form (form 1) with a 3.5 x 4.5 cm photo on a white background, original
• Passport copy; alien registration card copy if you hold one
• High school graduation (or expected) certificate and full high school transcript, originals, notarised: apostille, or Korean consular (or your embassy's) confirmation, or a national education-ministry certification; within 6 months
• Family relation proof, original, notarised: a foreign government certificate equal to the Korean family relation certificate, or proof of foreign nationality (copies of your parents' citizenship papers or passports)
• Financial proof, original: your own bank balance certificate if you are the guarantor; if not, add the guarantor's income or employment certificate (bank figures in the notes)
• Language proof, original. Korean track, one of: TOPIK report (TOPIK IBT included), DHU TOPIK report, King Sejong Institute certificate (online institute excluded), KIIP confirmation or pre-test report. English track: an English score report
• Self-introduction (form 2) and study plan (form 3), originals, in Korean, one page each

BANK BALANCE: 8,000,000 won for applicants in Korea, 16,000,000 won for applicants abroad, kept 3 months or more, issued within 1 month (Fall 2026 guide, same figures as Spring 2027).

Application fee 25,000 won (Fall 2026). Papers and fee are not returned; the original graduation certificate is returned after the selection.

Visa-change papers for residents were due 25 June (round 1) or 23 July 2026 (round 2) by registered mail or in person at 유학생지원팀.

Dormitory (dormitory office page, 2026 first semester): 1,957,680 won a semester with two meals a day, double rooms. Vacation stays cost extra.

All requirements

• NO SPRING 2027 KOREAN-TRACK GUIDE was on the school's site on 30 October 2026 (the Spring 2027 guide opens the two English-track departments only). This row follows the Fall 2026 guide, the last one that opened these departments
• You are a foreign national and BOTH parents are foreign nationals, and all of you took foreign nationality before you began schooling at Korean high-school level. Multiple nationals and stateless persons do not count as foreigners
• KOREAN (one of): TOPIK 2 or higher; DHU TOPIK (the school's own test) level 2, held or expected; KIIP stage 3 completed or pre-test 61 points or more; King Sejong Institute intermediate 1 or higher completed
• Entrants with TOPIK 2 or DHU TOPIK 2 take 300 hours of Korean training in the first year; reaching TOPIK 3 or DHU TOPIK 3 in the first semester cuts it to 120 hours
• ENGLISH TRACK (경영학과, IT학과): TOEFL 530, CBT 197, IBT 71, IELTS 5.5, CERF B2 or TEPS 600 (NEW TEPS 326); exempt with nationality or schooling from the seven listed countries (see the English-track rows)
• Selection: interview 100% (study ability 25, character and values 25, thinking and expression 20, attitude 30). Applicants graded D everywhere or absent from the interview may fail; ties all pass
• Bring an ID (alien registration card or passport copy) to the interview. Not registering inside the registration window cancels the admission; waiting-list applicants must stay reachable
• Application fee 25,000 won (Fall 2026 guide; the Spring 2027 English-track guide prints 30,000 won)
• TUITION: not printed in the Fall 2026 guide and not on the school's pages. Ask the admissions team (+82-53-819-1703)
• Departments (Fall 2026 guide): 17 Adventure College units from physical therapy to physical education, and 6 foreign-only units of 글로컬융합대학 (Global Tourism, Global Digital Business, Food and Nutrition, Korean Studies, English track)
• Korean medicine (한의예과) and nursing are not in this guide's unit table; the guide prints nothing further about them
