A scholarship below can remove the tuition line.
What can I study?
- Business Administration, Global Economics, International Trade
Published by Daejin University. Which of these a scholarship covers is decided by the school.
What do I need?
- Freshmen: high school graduation (or expected) certificate and transcript, originals plus apostille or consular confirmation, 1 each (transfers only if asked). Expected graduates file the original certificate after graduating
- Transfers: (junior) college graduation (or expected) or enrolment certificate and transcript, originals plus apostille or consular confirmation; the transcript must show class hours, credits and every semester's grades
- Original bank balance certificate of 20,000,000 won or more (see the note below)
- Korean proficiency certificate (one listed route) and English proficiency certificate (TOEFL, IELTS, CEFR, New TEPS, or English-medium schooling proof). The documents table marks both for every applicant
- ID copies: yours (passport, ID card, alien registration card if held) and both parents' ID cards; family relationship certificate copy (China: hukou and notarised kinship certificate where it applies)
- USA, Japan and others: notarised family register or birth certificate. Divorce or death certificate original if it applies. One photo (as uploaded online) and the school's personal information consent form (Form 1)
THE BANK BALANCE IS 20,000,000 WON OR MORE: one original certificate in your or a parent's name (a sibling's if the parents have died), filed WITH the application.
The balance must stay deposited until a semester start; the guide still prints the 2026 second semester, a date already passed. Ask which date applies.
Language certificates must be within 2 years of the application deadline. A missing original is a fail at document screening.
Schooling in China: a CHSI (学信网) report for general high schools and associate degrees. Vocational and technical schools follow the guide's own table (apostille, provincial education office confirmation, or the mohrss.gov.cn record).
Application fee 100,000 won, paid to the school's account by the closing day; late or short payment is a fail, and the fee is not refunded. No entrance fee is printed.
A visa refusal, or no entry within 14 days of the semester start, cancels admission; tuition is then refunded in full minus remittance fees. Overseas payers add the remittance fee when paying.
Dormitory: no fee is printed (the dormitory site points to a members-only system). International students applied with a TB test upload in the 2025 second semester.

All requirements
- You and BOTH parents are foreign nationals. If you or a parent holds dual nationality, or you gained a foreign nationality after birth, you are not treated as a foreigner
- FRESHMEN: high school graduate (or expected), with regular primary, middle and high school in Korea or abroad. A (foreign) GED, homeschooling or cyber learning is NOT accepted
- TRANSFERS: year 2 after 1 year (2 semesters) at a four-year university with 35 credits, or a 2- or 3-year college degree; year 3 after 2 years (4 semesters) with 70 credits, or a 2- or 3-year college degree
- Year 4 only from a 3-year college in the same field. Transfers study at least 6 semesters here (year 2), 4 (year 3) or 2 (year 4), and may need more if earlier credits are not recognised
- KOREAN, one of: TOPIK 3 (arts and PE majors TOPIK 2); King Sejong Institute intermediate 1; KIIP, the government's social integration programme (see the next line)
- KIIP: the guide's eligibility section says level 4 completed; its documents list says a level 3 certificate or a pre-test score of 61. Both are printed; ask the office which applies
- Also accepted: 6 months (20 weeks or 400 hours) or 2 semesters full-time at an approved Korean language school, 80% attendance (abroad: King Sejong Institutes or university institutes only)
- Transfers only: a semester or 6 months here as an exchange or short-term student with a C average
- Daejin's own Korean Language Education Center has been SUSPENDED since 22 August 2022, so the guide's two routes through it (its course and its Korean test) cannot be used now
- Entering on a language-school or exchange route (government scholars too) means 300 hours of special Korean courses or Korean Studies courses in your first year
- Year-4 transfers need TOPIK 3 (arts and PE TOPIK 2) or King Sejong intermediate 1; the Korean guide exempts year-4 transfers into the bilingual track
- ENGLISH: TOEFL iBT 59 for tests taken by 20 January 2026 (old scale, accepted until 20 January 2028) or 3.5 for tests from 21 January 2026; IELTS 5.5, CEFR B2 or New TEPS 202
- Nationals of countries where English is the native or legal official language (per Korea's foreign ministry country pages) are exempt with proof of secondary or higher education (official-language countries: English-taught only)
- Who needs the English score: the English guide says only International Business (English Track) applicants; the Korean guide names no department. Language scores must be within 2 years of the deadline
- Selection: document screening, then an interview (in person, or by video) of 5 to 10 minutes, averaged over two or more interviewers. Under 60 points, a missing original or an unmet requirement is a fail
- Round 1 screening and interviews may be cut to one day of each window if few apply. Unfilled places may go to extra admits. The school may also turn down applicants on study or financial ability
- GRADUATION (Korean track), one of: TOPIK 4 (arts and PE TOPIK 3); the College of International Cooperation's own Korean test; King Sejong intermediate 2 (not online); KIIP pre-test 81 or level 4
- Bilingual-track (English or Chinese track) students are exempt from the Korean graduation rule
- Not in the Spring 2027 unit lists, so not open to international applicants: Nursing, Practical Music and Contemporary Art (both open in Fall 2026), the evening adult departments and the undeclared divisions
- SPRING 2027 TUITION IS NOT SET: admits are told the 2027 rate; pay the deposit before it is set and you pay any rise later. Figures shown are Fall 2026, the latest printed
- Pay the deposit in its window or you are treated as giving up the place. Admitted to two or more universities? Register at only one, or both admissions can be cancelled
- Apply online at studyinkorea.go.kr only, by 17:00 on the closing day, and pay the fee and send the papers in the same window. The International Education Team tells each applicant the result. No cap on numbers
