What can I study?

Published by Daegu Catholic University. Which of these a scholarship covers is decided by the school.

What do I need?

• Application signed by the department head, self-introduction, study plan, academic record check consent (foreign graduates), personal data consent, a 3 x 4 photo
• Final degree or graduation certificate and transcript with a percentile conversion, notarised, with apostille or consular confirmation (China: CHSI reports); PhD applicants both degrees
• Passport (valid a year or more) and parents' ID copies; family relation proof and the guarantor's employment and income papers (home-country residents); ARC if you live in Korea
• Bank balance certificate original and the study-cost pledge (guarantor: parents or siblings only); language score if any; portfolio for arts

THE BANK BALANCE IS 16,000,000 WON OR MORE in your or a parent's name (residents of Korea: your own), issued within 30 days and valid through the month after entry, filed with the application.

Application fee 60,000 won (master's) or 80,000 (PhD and integrated) in your own name to the graduate school's iM Bank account. Entrance fee 831,000 won once, waived for DCU graduates.

D-2 after full tuition: the certificate of admission and invitation follow, about a month for the visa; alien registration within 90 days. Housing: an off-campus officetel is assigned first.

All requirements

• A bachelor's (master's or integrated) or a master's (PhD), held or expected, from an accredited university; both parents foreign, or a foreigner schooled entirely abroad; no Korean dual nationals
• LANGUAGE, all fields, one of: TOPIK 3 (arts and PE: 2); TOEFL 530 (iBT 71), IELTS 5.5 or New TEPS 326; a KIIP or King Sejong level equal to TOPIK 3. Scores from tests on or after 1 September 2024, within two years
• THE FALL 2026 SECOND-ROUND GUIDE IS THE NEWEST: its window (15 June to 7 July 2026) is closed; the Spring 2027 guide is expected on graduate.cu.ac.kr in October to November 2026
• Contact the department head before applying; a department admits only if applicants plus enrolled students reach three. A first-round reject cannot apply to the second round of the same department
• Selection: document screening by two reviewers including the department head; interview or practical possible (arts and PE practical)
• Two departments teach in Chinese: Rehabilitation Therapy and Clinical Optometry. To graduate: TOPIK 4, or half your classes in English, or the LEI special Korean course
