What do I need?
- LEI application form, self-introduction and study plan, personal data consent, three 3 x 4 photos on a white background
- Final school graduation certificate and transcript with apostille or consular confirmation
- Passport copy; ID copies of you and your parents; family relation certificate (China: hukou)
- Bank balance certificate; parents' employment and income certificates (or a business licence)
- Proof of earlier Korean study if you have it
THE BANK BALANCE IS USD 5,800 OR MORE (the leaflet does not say in whose name).
Tuition 1,300,000 won a term, the same in every season; textbooks and insurance extra. Application fee 50,000 won, new students only, not refundable.
Dormitory for the 15-week residence: four-person room 550,000 won, two-person 873,000, single 1,431,000; meals not included.

All requirements
- Apply during December for Spring (classes March to May), March for Summer (June to August), June for Fall (September to November), September for Winter (December to February); the leaflet prints months, not dates
- After the invoice and payment, the certificate of admission and visa papers are e-mailed; you apply at the Korean embassy in your country. The leaflet prints no D-4 minimum-term rule
- Refunds: full before the term; two thirds before a third of the class days; half before half; nothing after
- Two terms here replace TOPIK for a DCU degree (freshmen enter the undeclared school), earn 50% off the first degree semester, and cut the bank balance to 8,000,000 won
- Awards each term: 200,000 won for the top student, 100,000 for two runners-up, 50,000 for perfect attendance (up to ten a class) and class service, 100,000 to 300,000 for mentoring; TOPIK test fees paid while enrolled
- TOPIK 2 before admission: 20% off the first term; the DCU Global Start certificate (signed at a DCU information session) earns 500,000 won after a term with 80% attendance and TOPIK 2
- Free pick-up from Gimhae airport on request
