What can I study?

Published by Dong-A University. Which of these a scholarship covers is decided by the school.

What do I need?

• Application form (printed after applying online) and the academic record check consent (form 1)
• High school graduation (or expected) certificate and full transcript, each with an apostille or Korean consular confirmation
• Transfers add the university graduation or enrolment certificate and the full university transcript, each with an apostille or Korean consular confirmation
• Parent and child relationship certificate issued by a foreign government (plus a divorce or death certificate, or the single-parent form certified by your government, where relevant)
• ID copies of you and both parents, and your passport copy
• Bank balance certificate; if it is not in your name, add the sponsor form (form 2) and the sponsor's income and employment certificates
• IELTS, TOEFL iBT or New TEPS score, or proof of schooling in one of the seven English-speaking countries
• Optional: high school profile, activity records signed or sealed by the principal, national exam results

THE BANK BALANCE IS 16,000,000 WON OR MORE if you live abroad, or 8,000,000 won from a Korean bank if you live in Korea. Issued within a month before or after you apply, and uploaded WITH the application.

Application fee 60,000 won, paid on the application site (MY PAGE); not refunded.

Self-introductions and recommendation letters are abolished and cannot be sent. The first-semester fee includes 158,200 won of entrance cost, except Integrated Business Management (same fee every semester).

Dormitory (Hanlim Hall, Seunghak campus), a semester without vacation: women 939,000 won, men 1,070,000 (2026 rates).

All requirements

• You and BOTH parents are foreign nationals. Dual nationals and stateless persons cannot apply
• Freshmen: a high school graduate (or expected graduate) of a regular school course recognised by that country's law. Transfers (years 2 and 3) may apply from any previous major
• ENGLISH: IELTS 5.5, TOEFL iBT 3.5 or New TEPS 202, within two years of the deadline. A TOEFL iBT taken before 20 January 2026 needs 59
• No score needed if you completed secondary school or higher in South Africa, New Zealand, the USA, Ireland, the UK, Canada or Australia, with proof. An English proficiency certificate from a school elsewhere is not accepted
• Selection: documents plus an interview on aptitude and fit for the major. Round 1 interviews 2 to 3 November 2026 (schedule posted 30 October); round 2 interviews 11 to 12 January 2027
• Four majors for Spring 2027: Integrated Business Management, Global Advanced Integrated Engineering, Global Media and Global IT. Two rounds are printed for the English track
• Apply online at applydonga.accomsystem.co.kr; the application counts only once the fee is paid. No major change after that, and no leave of absence in the first semester
