Official figures from the source page on the date checked. Estimates are Waegook's. Unknown is shown as not published, never as zero.
A scholarship below can remove the tuition line.
What can I study?
- Food and Nutrition (M, D, I), Health Science (보건관리학과, M), Information Statistics (M)
- Applied Chemistry (applied chemistry, cosmetic science; M), Computer Science (M, D), Health and Cosmetics (보건향장학과, D only)
- Physical Education (M, D)
Published by Dongduk Women's University. Which of these a scholarship covers is decided by the school.
What do I need?
- Application form (UwayApply)
- Master's: bachelor's (expected) certificate and all-year transcript originals, with a 4.5-scale or 100-point conversion table. PhD: master's (expected) certificate, bachelor's and master's transcripts. Transfers add earlier school papers
- Foreign degrees: papers not in Korean or English translated and notarised, then an apostille or local Korean consular confirmation (인가대학확인서), original, within 3 months. Chinese nationals: "중국 교육부 인증(学信网) 혹은 아포스티유 원본(3개월 이내)"
- Passport and ID copies of you and both parents (a notarised English kinship certificate if a parent's passport cannot be filed); a foreign government paper equal to a family register; divorce or death papers if relevant
- Chinese nationals, as printed: every 호구부 copy if you and your parents are not on one, and "친족관계증명서 영문번역 공증본 필수"
- Alien registration card copy (applicants living in Korea only); academic verification request and consent (foreign degrees; school form)
- PhD: research career and plan (school form), a CV and the master's thesis. Department extras: portfolios, recital programmes, study plans (see the majors list)
- Language proof if you use it (TOPIK or an English score)
THE BANK BALANCE IS 20,000,000 WON OR MORE, filed after admission: issued within 30 days of applying, kept until entry and for at least 6 months, in your own name in principle (a parent with proof of the relation).
Application fee 200,000 won for every course. Not returned, except after review when a disaster, illness or accident you did not cause kept you from the exam (never after the exam date).
ENTRANCE FEE 895,000 WON, first semester only (2026 leaflet: "대학원 첫학기 입학금 895,000원"), on its own line, not inside tuition.
Missing papers mean you cannot sit the exam. On the exam day be in place 30 minutes before the start with your admission ticket and ID; an absent applicant fails.
False papers, or a degree not obtained, cancel admission even during study, with no tuition refund. Foreign degree holders who do not help the school check the degree after entry lose the place.
Results on the office site (intl2.dongduk.ac.kr) with no individual notice. Expected graduates file the diploma and final transcript before entry or the place is cancelled.
Places left by students who do not register go to the waiting list, contacted one by one on the phone numbers in the application; after 3 failed contacts you are skipped. Scores are not disclosed.
The 2026 leaflet's yearly plan: spring intake applications in October and December, results November and January, classes from March; fall intake applications April and June, classes from September.
Last year's Spring 2026 first round, for planning only: online 22 to 29 October 2025, results 14 November 2025.
Dormitory fee (2026 leaflet, not split by level): semester plus vacation (25 weeks), 4-person room A 1,917,000 won, room B 2,046,500 won. The graduate guide prints no dormitory rule.
The dormitory's own notice of 2 January 2025 takes applications from enrolled and graduate students and lists foreign students and graduate students as priority groups. Rooms are drawn at random within places. Men: ask.
