What do I need?
- Application form (form 1) with photo; personal information consent (form 2); passport copy; 2 photos (3.5 x 4.5 cm); a Korean study plan
- Final school certificate and transcript, originals with consular certification or apostille, valid 3 months; no provisional graduation certificate. University students: high school diploma plus enrolment certificate
- Family relation certificate (notarised; add proof if parents are divorced or deceased); parents' and your ID or passport copies
- Financial proof (see notes), issued within 1 month of submission
THE BANK BALANCE IS 8,000,000 WON OR MORE (the Korean guide: equal to a year of tuition and living costs), plus your parents' employment and salary records (business owners: property tax certificate), notarised, or 6 months of their bank history in English.
A sponsor's account adds the sponsor's employment or business certificate, property tax certificate and study cost pledge, issued within 3 months.
Country rules as printed: China, a balance held 6 months or more; Vietnam, the Ministry of Justice deposit certificate (Shinhan, Woori or Hana, 1 year, 8,000,000 won) and an embassy-designated health check; Uzbekistan, a Korean bank's local branch, held 3 months.
Tuition 2,400,000 won for 20 weeks (two terms), culture activities included. Application fee 50,000 won by bank transfer only, to a different account from tuition.
Dormitory: Happy Dormitory (building 26), two-person room, 981,700 won a semester plus a 50,000 deposit (1,031,700), or 2,946,000 a year plus 50,000 (2,996,000); meals extra.
Insurance: about 100,000 won for the first 6 months (may change), then National Health Insurance.

All requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent, and a foreign national with no problem getting a D-4 visa. Places are not limited. Selection by document review
- Apply online on Study in Korea, then send the papers by post or in person to the International Exchange Team, building 13 Seongpa Global Hall, 3rd floor, room 309. No e-mail applications
- The school sends the visa papers after tuition is paid. Applicants from China, Vietnam, Mongolia and Uzbekistan first apply for a certificate of visa issuance on the Korea Visa Portal
- 2026 terms, 10 weeks each: Spring 3 March to 8 May; Summer 18 May to 24 July; Fall 31 August to 6 November; Winter 17 November 2026 to 22 January 2027
- THE WINTER 2026 GUIDE IS THE NEWEST. The Korean guide says the 2027 schedule is not set; the English guide prints Spring 2027 as 2 March to 7 May, which the Korean guide does not confirm. No 2027 windows are posted
- Completion: 80% attendance or more and a test score of 70 or more
- Refunds: full before the term; two thirds before a third of class time; half before half; nothing after
- Pre-school applicants with IELTS 5.0 or TOPIK 1: 50% off (1,200,000 won off the 2,400,000 for 20 weeks)
- TOPIK: test fee support for moving up a level (none or 1 to 2, 2 to 3, 3 to 4); a bonus once during the course of 50,000 won (level 3), 70,000 (level 4) or 100,000 (level 5)
- Degree students (undated pages): a free intensive class aiming at TOPIK 3, afternoons or evenings; graduate students: a special class at 600,000 won; about 15 a class
