What do I need?
- Online application at atom.ewha.ac.kr, for two terms if you need a D-4
- Copy of your passport
- Original graduation certificate with an apostille, plus an enrolment certificate if you are at university
- Original bank balance certificate in your name or a parent's, with original proof of relationship if it is a parent's
- Already in Korea on another visa: the online form, passport copy, alien registration card copy and a copy of your graduation certificate
THE BANK BALANCE IS 10,000,000 WON for two terms, issued within 30 days before the visa application.
The application fee is 120,000 won from the winter 2026 term and is not refunded. Continuing students pay none.
Dormitory: buildings A, C and D, single or double rooms, at most two terms, with a TB screening. The price changes every term and is posted on the centre's notice board.

All requirements
- Foreigners or overseas Koreans who finished high school
- FOR A D-4 VISA YOU REGISTER FOR TWO TERMS AT ONCE. Original papers must reach the centre at least two weeks before the new-student tuition deadline
- A class runs only with six students or more
- The Certificate of Admission comes after the papers are checked (one to two weeks) and tuition is paid. Sending papers does not guarantee one, and the centre does not say why it refuses
- Insurance is included in the tuition and everyone in the programme is enrolled in it
- Three terms here with level 5 or higher earn the ELC Excellence scholarship on a first semester at Ewha
