What can I study?

Published by Gachon University. Which of these a scholarship covers is decided by the school.

What do I need?

• Application set printed after the online application: form, study plan, consents, notice
• Bachelor's (and for a PhD, master's) graduation certificate and full transcript: Korean originals; CHSI English certificate for China; apostille, consular confirmation or notarised translation elsewhere
• Language certificate
• Passport copies of you and your parents (alien registration card if in Korea)
• Family relationship or birth certificate, Korean or English, notarised, issued within six months (Chinese: household register or kinship certificate)
• Bank balance certificate
• Portfolio for performing arts (profile) and fine art (ten works on USB); career certificate if relevant

THE BANK BALANCE IS USD 20,000 OR MORE if you live abroad, 20,000,000 WON if you live in Korea, asked from student-visa applicants.

Application fee 120,000 won (160,000 for Music with the practical exam), refunded only if you cancel before the deadline.

Tuition basis Spring 2026, may change after the tuition review; student council fee 30,000 a semester.

All requirements

• NEWEST GUIDE IS FALL 2026. The spring 2027 graduate guide was not posted on 25 September 2026; in 2025 the spring notice went up on 24 September with applications 29 September to 13 October
• You and both parents are foreign nationals
• A bachelor's for a master's or integrated course, a master's for a PhD; provisional degrees are not accepted. Korean medicine clinical majors take licensed practitioners only
• LANGUAGE: TOPIK 3 (TOPIK 4 before graduation), OR TOEFL iBT 80, IELTS 5.5, CEFR B2, TEPS 600 or New TEPS 326. Nationals of the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and South Africa are exempt with a diploma from there
• The multilingual programme (Business Administration, Education; taught in English, Korean and Chinese) needs no language proof. STEM applicants recommended by an adviser may send the score within six months of entry
• Selection on documents; some departments add an oral or practical exam. No quota
• The Medical campus graduate school runs its own foreign admission (032-820-4771); no guide is online
