What do I need?

• Application form, entered in the online system Apply
• Honor Pledge, printed, signed by hand and uploaded again
• Letter of Consent, on Handong's form, signed and uploaded
• Financial Statement, on Handong's form, signed and uploaded
• Original high school transcript, with every year, the grading scale and your GPA
• High school graduation certificate, or expected graduation
• Copies of your passport and both parents' passports. A driving licence is not accepted
• Original family relation certificate or birth certificate
• Bank balance certificate showing USD 13,000 or more, in your name or a financial sponsor's
• Recommended: a language score, TOPIK 4, or TOEFL iBT 85, IELTS 5.5 or New TEPS 285
• Optional: one recommendation letter, from your high school principal or a teacher, a missionary or your pastor
• Optional: SAT, IB, AP or A-Level scores, awards, service certificates, a school profile, a personal statement

ORIGINALS ARE ONLY FOR ADMITTED STUDENTS, with an apostille or consular authentication, by 28 February for spring entry or 31 August for autumn.

A notarised document must be issued on or after 1 September 2026 for spring 2027 entry, or 1 March 2027 for autumn. An apostille does not expire.

The application is not complete until the 100,000 fee is paid, and no application number is issued without it.

The interview fee of 20,000 is waived. There is no second charge if you reach stage two.

Cornerstone Scholarship applicants must send a language score and the scholarship form, and may leave out the bank certificate.

A recommendation from a parent or relative is not accepted.

All requirements

• You and both your parents hold foreign citizenship. If you or either parent also holds Korean nationality you cannot apply
• YOU ARE ADMITTED WITHOUT A MAJOR and choose one freely entering the second year, which is why tuition changes after year one
• Homeschooling, cyber or online learning, adult education and equivalency examinations such as the GED are NOT recognised
• A provisional or temporary certificate is not an official graduation document
• Two stages: your documents are screened, then an interview, online or in person
• A language score is recommended, not required. The Cornerstone Scholarship is the exception: it needs one
• An international first-year is guaranteed a dormitory place
