What do I need?
- Photo taken within 3 months; passport valid a year or more (you cannot apply while a passport is being issued); application form with your own signature
- Final school graduation certificate and transcript with a translation and an apostille or consular confirmation (China: CHSI English report)
- Bank balance certificate; family papers (Vietnam: birth and residence certificates; China: hukou and kinship certificate) with ID copies
- Parents' employment and income certificates showing position, years and monthly pay, or business registration plus a workplace photo; papers issued by you or your parents are not accepted (OECD and Chinese-speaking region exempt)
- Proof of what you did if more than 1 year has passed since graduation (OECD and Chinese-speaking region: more than 2 years): an enrolment or employment certificate
- Proof of earlier Korean study and a TOPIK report if you have them; Mongolia: social-insurance record
THE BANK BALANCE IS 10,000,000 WON OR MORE: two originals issued within 30 days of applying, one with the application and one for the visa.
Vietnam: a study-fund deposit certificate or a balance from a local Korean bank branch, held 3 months or more.
Application fee 70,000 won, paid after admission. Tuition 1,450,000 won a term, culture class included. Insurance 100,000 won (6 months), paid with the first term in both packages.

- Foreigners and overseas Koreans who finished high school or higher
- D-4 MINIMUM: OECD and Chinese-speaking-region nationals register for at least 2 terms (6 months); all other nationals at least 4 terms (1 year), paid in one sum. The D-4 stay is up to 2 years
- The course notice names 21 countries under a Minister of Justice notice whose applicants must consult the office first: Ghana, Nigeria, Nepal, Mongolia, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Iran,
- (list continued) Egypt, India, Indonesia, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Thailand, Pakistan, Peru, the Philippines
- WHO MAY APPLY ALONE: only OECD and Chinese-speaking-region nationals. The notice says other individual applications are not accepted: some countries are restricted, some may apply only on a partner institution's recommendation
- Other nationals who can enter register at least 4 terms (2026 guide). Applicants from the 21 listed countries consult the office before applying ([email protected]). The notice says the conditions may change
- Steps: upload scans online; document review; ZOOM interview; result by the system and e-mail; pay the invoice; visa papers; placement test before arrival; bring the originals in person after arrival (not by post)
- 2 terms: 70,000 fee + 2,900,000 tuition + 100,000 insurance (6 months) = 3,070,000 won. 4 terms: 70,000 + 5,800,000 + 100,000 = 5,970,000 won. Paid in one sum
- THE 2026 GUIDE IS THE NEWEST: terms run to Winter 2026 (ends 5 February 2027). No 2027 dates are printed; the course page gives only nominal starts of 1 March, 1 June, 1 September and 1 December
- Top grade in each level last term: 10% off tuition at the start of the term. Moving on to a Hansung Korean-track degree after 3 terms here adds 20% off its first semester (30% after 4 terms or more)
- Dormitory, 2026 rates per day: two-person 9,500 won, three-person 9,000, four-person 8,500, plus a 150,000 deposit; admitted students only, chosen by internal criteria (+82-2-760-5596, [email protected])
