What do I need?
- Passport copy and ID card
- Highest-degree graduation certificate and transcript with an apostille or Korean consular notarisation (China: CHSI or CDGDC certificates)
- Bank statement
- Designated countries: certified family relations certificate (China: Hukou) and a gap explanation if you graduated more than two years ago
- North America, EU, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan: passport, certified degree papers and a bank statement only
THE BANK BALANCE IS USD 10,000 OR MORE in your or your parents' name, issued within a month, deposited for more than six months or with a six-month transaction record; a parent's statement needs employment and property proof. China: RMB 70,000 frozen six months. Vietnam and Uzbekistan: from a bank with a presence in both countries.
Application fee 100,000 won, not refunded. Insurance 30,000 won a term. Payable in USD or EUR with the difference settled on arrival.
Dormitory: Global Hall double room, one term 1,720,000 won including maintenance, cleaning and a refundable 100,000 deposit; two terms 3,290,000.
Refunds step down by class day: the full 1,600,000 before the term, nothing after the second week of the last month.

All requirements
- University students, graduates, or anyone with at least a high school diploma
- Applicants from the designated, focus-management and TB high-risk countries have an earlier deadline and send more papers. The printed list includes China, the Philippines, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Mongolia, Thailand, Pakistan
- Also on that list: Sri Lanka, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Iran, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Nigeria, Ghana, Egypt, Peru, Kyrgyzstan, Guinea, Mali, Ethiopia, Uganda and Cameroon
- Vietnamese applicants apply only through the CKLC offices in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, about three months before the term
- Applicants from China, Mongolia, Vietnam and Uzbekistan are assessed through the Visa Issuance Certificate; an immigration refusal is a rejection
- Do not pay before the invoice arrives after document screening. Visa papers come by e-mail after payment
- Level 3 here counts as Korean proof for a HUFS degree; two terms earn the HUFS Global A award on admission
