What do I need?
- Application form with a photo; 4 photos (3 cm x 4 cm, white background, taken within 3 months) and a JPG file of the photo
- Passport copy (2 to 3 years of validity left) and ID copy
- Final graduation certificate and transcript: the apostille original, or Korean consular confirmation in the country where it applies. If the original is not in English, add the original of a notarised translation
- Family relation certificate or birth certificate, and copies of your parents' IDs (a passport can stand in). The brochure prints one more line, given here as printed: Chinese students file the household register (hukou)
- Proof of your or your parents' employment, income or business
- Bank balance certificate in your own name, USD 8,000 or more, 2 originals: one for the institute and one for the visa application
- Admission page (undated), section "papers for Chinese students", as printed: the verification report from chsi.com.cn or cdgdc.edu.cn for the final schooling (vocational high schools: see the page), and copies of ID and household register
- Moving from another university's Korean centre (admission page, undated): add a copy of your alien registration card and the original attendance and grade certificates from that centre
THE BANK BALANCE IS USD 8,000 OR MORE in your own name, 2 originals (2026 brochure), issued within 1 month of applying, or within its validity period, up to 6 months from issue.
The institute's admission page (undated) says 10,000 dollars and 1 original, issued within 1 month. The dated brochure's USD 8,000 is shown here.
Fees: 1,400,000 won a term (9 weeks), textbooks not included. Application fee 50,000 won or USD 50, never refunded. Pay by bank transfer to the university account; overseas transfer charges are yours.
If the person who sends the money is not the applicant, contact the office after the transfer (brochure).
Dormitory (brochure): 720,000 won for 3 months, two-person room, no meals, 8,000 won a day. The 2026 leaflet prints the International House at 720,000 won a semester.
Insurance: 100,000 won for 6 months (student medical insurance). Foreign students join National Health Insurance automatically 6 months after arrival.
The visa page (undated) says insurance is compulsory while you are on the course, and that a policy for overseas students bought in your own country can be handed in instead.

All requirements
- Anyone with a high school diploma or higher may apply. Apply in person or by post
- From abroad (D-4), the steps as printed: post the papers, document review, result, interview, an invoice after you pass the interview, tuition payment, the standard admission letter, visa application at a Korean consulate, arrival
- D-4 VISA APPLICANTS MUST PAY TUITION FOR 4 TERMS (2026 brochure). One term is 1,400,000 won
- 180 hours a term: 5 days a week, 4 hours a day. Levels 1 to 3 study in the afternoon (13:00 to 17:00) and levels 4 to 6 in the morning (09:00 to 13:00). A culture activity 1 to 2 times a term
- Term length: the 2026 brochure and the course page say 9 weeks (180 hours). The institute FAQ (no date on the page) says each level runs 10 weeks, and the printed fall terms and the Winter 2027 term span ten calendar weeks
- Deadlines in the brochure: Winter 2026 by 9 October 2026; Spring 2027 by 1 January 2027; Summer 2027 by 2 April 2027; Fall 2027 by 2 July 2027; Winter 2027 by 1 October 2027. Opening dates are not printed

- Finishing class 4 (intermediate) or higher here, with the director's recommendation, meets the Korean rule for most Inje undergraduate departments (Spring 2027 guide). Level 4 or higher meets the graduate Korean rule (Fall 2026 guide)

- D-4 stay (visa page, undated): up to 2 years in Korea, extended 3 to 6 months at a time. Extension fee 60,000 won; alien registration fee 35,000 won
- Extending the visa (FAQ answers, undated): you pay the next term's tuition first. An extension is 6 months at most, and a 6-month extension needs 6 months of tuition paid to the office
- One postponement is allowed after you register; there is no refund if you miss the term you chose (tuition page, undated)
- Refunds: two undated pages differ. Tuition page: all of it before the term starts (new students: less the application fee), then by taught hours up to 6 weeks (42 days) at 6,250 won an hour, nothing after 7 weeks (49 days)
- Refunds, FAQ: no refund as a rule; only in cases the director accepts: all of it up to the day before the term, two thirds within 7 days, half from day 8 to 28, nothing from day 29
- To cancel (tuition page, undated): hand in a refund application and the original admission letter, with proof if you withdraw your application or the visa is refused. The refund is paid within 14 working days
- The institute also runs an English Language Course (English 12 hours a week, Korean 8 hours a week) for applicants with a valid IELTS 5.5 or higher who then enter an Inje degree (2026 leaflet)
