What can I study?
- College of Medicine: Medicine, premedical course
- College of Pharmacy: Pharmacy
Published by Inje University. Which of these a scholarship covers is decided by the school.
What do I need?
- Application form (forms 1 and 2) and the academic record check consent (form 3); the forms are on oia.inje.ac.kr
- Passport copy; alien registration card copy if you live in Korea; copies of your parents' alien registration cards if they live in Korea
- High school graduation (or expected graduation) certificate, 1 copy, with the original authentication paper: an apostille, or Korean consular confirmation for countries outside the apostille convention. High school transcript, 1 copy
- Schools in China: the verification report from the Ministry of Education's centre (chsi.com.cn) instead; secondary vocational schools follow separate rules in the guide
- One original paper proving who you are and the nationality of you and your parents (for example a birth certificate, or a family relation certificate plus your parents' IDs); a parent's divorce or death certificate if it applies
- Single-parent families add the single-parent family confirmation (a form attached to the guide), officially certified by a government body in your country
- Proof of finances, originals: a bank balance certificate and the study cost pledge (form 4)
- Language score certificate if you hold one; other certificates, awards and foreign language test reports if you have them
THE BANK BALANCE IS 8,000,000 WON OR MORE if you apply from inside Korea (a Korean bank certificate) and 16,000,000 WON OR MORE if you apply from abroad (a Korean or overseas bank), original, filed WITH the application.
It must be in your name or a parent's (a sibling's if both parents have died). If you have finished alien registration and are staying in Korea, only a Korean bank certificate in your own name counts.
Admitted students file a new bank certificate, issued within 30 days, when they change their status of stay. Visa papers are sent in after you are admitted.
The school issues visa papers only to those who have paid tuition and handed in original papers. For applicants from Inje's own language institute, the office handles the change of status once the visa papers are in.
Application fee 70,000 won (Medicine and Pharmacy, round 1: 100,000 won). The account is sent to you after your application arrives, and the application is complete only when the fee is paid.
The fee is returned only if you cannot sit the interview through no fault of your own (disaster, illness, accident). Simply missing the interview does not count, and nothing is returned if you fail.
Tuition for Spring 2027 is printed in neither guide. A figure shown here is the 2026 one from the school's Fall 2026 international guide (the 2026 leaflet prints the same), which adds a 122,000 won entrance fee to the first semester.
Tuition payment dates: to be announced. The semester start date is not printed. If you do not pay within the registration period, admission is cancelled.
Dormitory: not printed in the Spring 2027 guides. The 2026 leaflet: Biotech Village 800,000 won a semester and International House 720,000 won a semester, two-person rooms, no meals or bedding; mattress cover 11,000 won.
After admission you are enrolled in National Health Insurance. Unpaid premiums can limit visa extension, dormitory entry, scholarships and course registration.

All requirements
- You and both parents must all be foreign nationals. It counts if all three held foreign nationality before you began schooling equal to Korean high school. Dual nationals cannot apply (judged at admission)
- A high school graduate or expected graduate: from a Korean high school, from schooling abroad equal to Korean high school, or after moving from a foreign high school to a Korean one
- The Spring 2027 guides print nothing on a GED, school-leaving exams or homeschooling. Ask the office before you apply on one of these
- LANGUAGE GROUP A, Global College except AI Computer: you may apply with no TOPIK score. A Global Open Major student who wants a major in another college after one year needs TOPIK 3 or higher
- LANGUAGE GROUP B, the English track (Global Open Major, Global Business, AI Computer): IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL iBT 71 or higher, as printed
- LANGUAGE GROUP C, every other department, one of three: TOPIK 3 or higher; a pass in Inje University's own Korean test; or the Inje language institute route on the next line
- Institute route for group C: the intermediate class (class 4) or higher at Inje's Global Language Institute, finished or about to finish, with its director's recommendation
- Only language scores still valid on the application closing date count. To graduate, every student needs TOPIK 4 or higher, or IELTS 5.5 or higher
- Selection: document review and an interview, 100 points in all, at the Gimhae campus. Bring an ID card: without it you fail, and missing the interview is a fail too. Music and Webtoon and Motion Media hold a practical test
- Only the English-track departments for international students teach in English; all other departments teach in Korean
- Units called a division use free major choice: you pick a department inside the division at the end of year 1 with no grade or headcount limit, and may change division twice during year 1
- There is no online application: papers go to the Office of International Affairs in person or by post. You cannot apply to two units at once. Dates are Korea time and may change with the number of applicants
- If you pass at two or more universities for the same semester you may register at only one. If you have registered at Inje and choose another university, give the office a written withdrawal within 12 hours of getting the other acceptance
- Medicine (premedical course), Pharmacy and Nursing recruit in round 1 only; they are not in the rounds 2 and 3 guide. The guides print no list of closed majors: units on the university site that a guide leaves out are simply not listed
- SPRING 2027 GUIDES (Korean prevails). Round 1 ran 7 to 11 September 2026; round 2 runs 19 October to 6 November 2026; round 3 runs 14 to 31 December 2026. Places for new students: no limit, as printed
- Transfers have their own Spring 2027 guide with two rounds: 19 October to 6 November 2026 and 14 to 31 December 2026
- Medicine and Pharmacy, round 1 selection: stage 1 is a document review; stage 2 is an in-depth interview for those who pass. One part is an oral test on life science and chemistry (Korean curriculum). Medicine uses multiple mini interviews
- Medicine and Pharmacy: applicants who fail stage 1 get the 15,000 won interview fee back
- Scholarships: the 2026 leaflet says undergraduate awards exclude Medicine, Nursing and Pharmacy majors. The Spring 2027 guide prints no exclusion, so ask the office before you count on an award
