What can I study?

Published by Jeju National University. Which of these a scholarship covers is decided by the school.

What do I need?

• Application form, printed after you apply online
• Personal introduction on Jeju's form, written in Korean
• High school graduation or expected-graduation certificate, with an apostille or consular confirmation
• High school transcript for every year, with an apostille or consular confirmation
• TOPIK certificate at level 4 or higher, valid on the application deadline
• Proof of your parents' nationality and your family relationship: passport or ID copies, plus papers if a parent has died, divorced or remarried
• Copy of your valid passport, and your alien registration card if you live in Korea
• Bank balance certificate of at least 16,000,000 won, with Jeju's financial credibility form
• Release of academic record agreement form
• Address form for the Certificate of Admission, if you live abroad

THE BANK BALANCE IS 16,000,000 WON, issued within 30 days of applying. Living abroad: your own or a parent's account, in Korea or abroad. Living in Korea: a Korean account in your own name.

Studying at Jeju's Korean Language Program? The balance halves to 8,000,000 won when you move up from D-4 to D-2.

Sent a copy of the bank certificate with your application? You send the original after the results.

Apostilles and consular confirmations can take 30 days or more. Start early.

All requirements

• You and both parents are foreign nationals on the day you apply. Anyone among you holding Korean nationality, dual Korean nationality or no nationality rules you out
• You finish high school after the full primary and secondary curriculum. A GED, homeschooling or cyber study is NOT accepted
• TOPIK 4 IS MANDATORY FOR DATA SCIENCE. Level 4 at Jeju's Korean Language Program, which replaces TOPIK for most majors, does not count here
• Data Science takes freshmen in the spring intake only, and judges you 100% on your documents
• Your personal introduction must be written in Korean
• Current Jeju students, including those on leave, cannot apply
• Jeju has not published its 2027 undergraduate guide yet. Everything here is from its 2026 guide
