What do I need?
- Application form and study plan; CV (school forms from the application site)
- Final school diploma and transcript, each with an apostille or Korean embassy confirmation (schooling in China: the verification route printed on the site)
- Passport copy; ID copies of you and your family; family relationship or birth certificate; a photo
- Bank balance certificate of 8,000,000 won or more; parents' employment and income certificates; financial and identity guarantee
- Copy of a TB test certificate (chest X-ray, within 3 months, in English)

Rules printed for named countries, copied whole: "[베트남] 본인 또는 부모의 은행잔고증명서 제출 시 금액이 최소 6개월 이상 예치 ※ 베트남 동화로 된 잔고증명서 제출 시 접수일 기준 환율로 계산".
"[몽골] 본인 또는 부모의 몽골 은행잔고증명서(접수일 기준 2주 이내 발급) ※ 예치증명서 발급일 기준 예치금액이 반드시 30일 이상 유지해야 함", plus proof of the sponsor's monthly income (970,000 won or 2,500,000 MNT a month).
"[중국] 본인 또는 부모의 은행잔고증명서 원본(신청일 기준 30일 이내 발급) - 예금동결 유효기간: 접수일로부터 3개월 이상".
In English: Vietnam, the deposit held at least 6 months; Mongolia, a Mongolian bank certificate issued within 2 weeks with the deposit held 30 days; China, an original issued within 30 days, frozen 3 months from filing.

The application site still showed an open "2026 winter" intake to 30 October 2026 and an old 2025 note; the course page gave 15 October 2026. Winter 2026 is not listed here: ask the centre.

All requirements
- A high school diploma or an equal level of schooling (Spring 2027 Gangneung-Wonju guides)
- RUN BY THE GANGNEUNG CAMPUS, apart from the Chuncheon Korean Language Program: each campus recruits its own students on its own dates
- Apply online on the course's application site, then send the papers by e-mail and post. Steps: document review, admission notice, tuition, admission certificate by post, D-4 visa in your home country, dormitory, arrival
- 2027 terms (guide): spring 2 March to 12 May; summer 31 May to 6 August; fall 30 August to 12 November; winter 29 November 2027 to 10 February 2028. Deadlines 30 January, 15 April, 30 July, 15 October
- The undated course page prints slightly different class dates for summer, fall and winter 2027 (same deadlines). The dated guide is used here; dates may change
- TUITION 1,300,000 won a term (undated course page; the guides print no fee). Other costs on the same page: campus housing about 4,000,000 won a year; private insurance 69,000 won for the first 6 months
- National Health Insurance about 76,000 won a month after 6 months in Korea; alien registration 35,000 won; visa extension 60,000 won (estimates on the course page)
- To pass a level: 80% attendance and an average of 70. No leave of absence. Absence of more than 10 days in a row is reported to immigration
- No part-time work in your first 6 months in Korea. Refunds: full before the term; 2/3 within the first third of class hours; half within half; none after
- The minimum number of terms for a D-4 visa is not printed. The visa page says the embassy asks for funds of at least USD 10,000 "(or the current required amount)"
