What do I need?
- Application form and consent for release of personal information, on Keimyung's forms. The document-evaluation route adds a study plan
- Copy of your passport, and your alien registration card if you live in Korea
- High school graduation certificate, original, apostilled or authenticated by the Korean embassy
- High school transcripts, original, apostilled or authenticated by the Korean embassy
- Family record book issued by your home government, notarised
- Copies of your parents' ID cards or passports, and their alien registration cards if they have them
- Your supporter's bank balance certificate: 16,000,000 won or more held for over a month, issued within one month
- Language proof: a TOPIK transcript, a KKPT pass, or a level 3 certificate from Keimyung's Korean Language Center issued before the semester starts
- Copy of your Korean bankbook, if you have a Korean account
- Document-evaluation route: up to 10 optional documents on your activities
APPLY ONLINE ON UWAY, then send the papers by post or in person. They must ARRIVE by the last day of the document period.
Your supporter's employment and income certificates are optional; the bank certificate is not. Finished Keimyung's Korean Language course? 8,000,000 won is enough.
Expected graduates send the final documents before the end of February. Schools in Japan: within 8 weeks of the semester start.
The fee is 75,000 won (105,000 for music, fine arts and physical education), and 15,000 comes back if you are disqualified. Originals are not returned.
