What do I need?
- Printed application; study and research plan (KUGRD-B1); a professor's recommendation from your previous university (KUGRD-B2 or free form); personal-information and academic-verification consents (KUGRD-A2, A1)
- Passport and ID copies of you and both parents; family relation certificate (China: hukou and notarised kinship certificate); ARC if in Korea
- Degree certificates and transcripts: overseas with apostille or consular confirmation, China with CHSI degree verification; language score; supervisor forms if you use that route
THE BANK BALANCE IS 20,000,000 WON OR MORE, filed after the results by a date the office notifies. Abroad: a fixed deposit in your or a parent's name frozen at least six months from the result date, issued within 30 days after it. In Korea with an ARC: your own Korean account, no freeze, plus a bankbook copy. A supervising professor may guarantee you instead (forms KUGRD-P1, P2 with 20,000,000 a year, P3, P6; one student per professor).
Application fee 150,000 won plus 5,500 online charge (155,500), no refund after the window. Entrance fee 1,015,000 won.
Scholarship at entry: 50% of tuition for TOPIK 6 or an English score (30% for TOPIK 3 to 5) in general fields; 50% for TOPIK 3 or an English score in science and engineering; then by GPA to semester four.

All requirements
- A bachelor's (master's; February 2027 graduates included) or a master's (PhD, with a supervisor's recommendation on form KUGRD-P7); the integrated course needs an undergraduate GPA of 4.0
- Both parents foreign nationals, or all your schooling from primary school to university abroad
- LANGUAGE, one of: TOPIK 3 (PBT or IBT); level 3 of the Konkuk Seoul Language Institute regular course; or TOEFL iBT 71 (PBT 530), IELTS 5.5, CEFR B2 or New TEPS 326
- With only an English score, ask the department and file the supervisor's study permit (KUGRD-P4) and the non-Korean-speaker agreement (KUGRD-P5); with no score, a supervisor approved by the department head can admit you on those forms
- KOREAN ONLY: Korean Language and Literature, Economics, Counseling Psychology TOPIK 5; History, Educational Technology, Cultural Contents, Media Communication, Humanities Mobility Convergence TOPIK 4
- Architecture and Film need a Korean score with no supervisor substitute
- International-student-only departments: Humanities Mobility Convergence, International Trade Business, Media Entertainment (master's). KONKUK-KIST Biomedical Science master's applicants need a six-year degree (medicine, veterinary)
- Selection: document screening; arts and sports add a portfolio (Music: performance videos by 21 October; Composition: a Zoom exam). TOPIK 4 or an English score is needed to graduate
- Final graduation papers for expected graduates by 31 December 2026 (overseas) or 19 February 2027 (Korea)
