What do I need?
- Online application, one photo, passport copy
- Final school graduation certificate and transcript in English translation with apostille or consular confirmation (China: CHSI verification or apostilled diploma)
- ID copies of you and both parents, the parents' employment and income proof, and a family relation or birth certificate (China: kinship certificate)
- Bank balance certificate and a tuberculosis test result
- Residents of Korea who need no D-4: application, photo, passport, ARC, graduation certificate, national health insurance certificate, TB test
THE BANK BALANCE IS 10,000,000 WON OR MORE on deposit.
Per term: tuition 1,650,000 won (textbooks extra); no application fee is printed, but a 100,000 registration fee once at admission; insurance 100,000 if not on national health insurance; placement test 10,000.
Dormitory: on-campus four-person rooms 653,000 won a term, at most two terms; off-campus halls in Jeongneung and Gireum without a printed language-student price.
The English university site still prints 1,450,000 won a term; the centre's own 2026 guide and pages say 1,650,000.

All requirements
- Apply online at applynow.kr about three months before the term; Chinese nationals have a later window (Winter 2026: others 1 to 14 September, China 14 to 30 September; results 1 and 19 October)
- 2027 term dates and windows are not published yet (the 2027 guide file does not exist); 2026 terms ran mid-March, mid-June, mid-September and mid-December
- Screening on documents (100 points): study plan, parents' finances and, for non-Chinese applicants, final school grades; interview only when needed
- After tuition the centre e-mails the Standard Admission Letter in about two weeks; apply for the D-4-1 at the embassy and arrive a week before the term. Two or more terms need the D-4-1
- Alien registration is done as a group in week one (card around week eight); student insurance and a free health check are compulsory
- Finishing level 3, 4, 5 or 6 here earns 30, 50, 70 or 100% off the first semester of a Kookmin degree (two regular terms completed); the dual course lets you enter a degree with no Korean
