A scholarship below can remove the tuition line.
What can I study?
- IT Convergence Engineering (an interdepartmental programme). English FAQ: all classes taught entirely in English
Published by Kumoh National Institute of Technology. Which of these a scholarship covers is decided by the school.
What do I need?
- Application form (form 1, printed after the online form and signed, photo uploaded) with the personal data consent; self-introduction (form 2); study plan (form 3); recommendation from a professor of your university (form 4)
- Degree (or expected) certificate and full transcript: bachelor's for master's and integrated applicants, master's for PhD applicants. Korean or English translation. Expected graduates file the original degree certificate before entry
- Original Korean or English test report (see the language line). Passport and alien registration card copies
- A document equal to a resident register. As printed for Chinese applicants: "중국인의 경우 전 가족사항이 기재된 호구부 및 전 가족의 거민 신분증 사본"
- Bank balance certificate (issued within 30 days of applying), or a remittance or exchange certificate, or a scholarship certificate, or your future supervisor's funding letter. See the notes
- FINAL ADMITS who studied abroad, by 28 August 2026 (Fall 2026): an apostilled degree paper, or one confirmed by a Korean consul or the foreign mission in Korea, or a CHSI report for degrees from China
BANK BALANCE: an English-language bank certificate showing one year's average costs or more, in your (or a financial guarantor's) name, from a bank in Korea or abroad. The screening line is 16,000,000 won outside the capital region (비 수도권 원화 1,600만원).
The English guide words it "minimum amount KRW16,000,000"; an account not in your name needs a certificate of relationship. A scholarship certificate or the supervisor's funding letter must also show 16,000,000 won.
No application fee (전형료 무료). Papers sent by post must arrive by the closing day. Papers are not returned.
ENTRANCE FEE 184,000 WON, ONCE, in the first semester, on top of tuition. Tuition a semester: natural sciences 2,450,000 won; engineering, humanities and social 2,692,000 won. English guide: "2026 Standard", 2027 to be decided.
First-semester bill: 2,634,000 won (natural sciences) or 2,876,000 won (engineering, humanities and social), entrance fee included. Paid at NH Bank in the registration window.
Housing: international students may live in the campus dormitory but pay the management fee and meals themselves. The graduate guide prints no dormitory amount.
Results are posted on the university site only; applicants are not told one by one. Unpaid tuition by the deadline cancels the admission.
