What do I need?
- Everyone: application form and one passport photo (white background, taken within 6 months); passport copy; final diploma and transcript, apostilled or consular-confirmed after translation into English or Korean
- Applicants abroad: ID copies of the whole family; a birth certificate (Chinese nationals: a notarised family relation certificate confirmed by the foreign ministry); a household register copy listing you and both parents
- Applicants abroad: parents' employment and income certificates; papers proving a parent's divorce or death if relevant. Chinese nationals: the diploma via the education ministry's degree report or an apostille
- The guide's list for Vietnamese nationals adds a CV confirmed by the local People's Committee and photos of the whole family, the home inside and out, and the parents' workplaces
- Already in Korea (any nationality): application and photo, passport copy, ARC front and back with 3 months or more of stay left, final diploma and transcript; more papers may be asked for a D-4 change
BANK BALANCE for applicants abroad, as the guide prints it by group: Chinese nationals USD 10,000 (RMB 80,000), with 30 days or more of deposit freeze left; all other nationals USD 10,000, kept 3 months or more.
The guide's third group, Vietnamese nationals, files a 10,000,000 won study-cost deposit certificate instead, which may be sent after final acceptance.
Bank certificates (Chinese and other nationals): original, in your or one parent's name, issued within 30 days of the visa application, kept during your stay. Applicants already in Korea file no bank certificate.
Fees after final acceptance: application 100,000 won (not refundable); tuition 2,800,000 for 2 terms (Vietnamese nationals 5,600,000 for 4 terms); insurance 70,000 for 6 months, compulsory.
Dormitory (optional): Dream Tower, two-person room with its own bathroom, 2,346,600 won for 6 months; may change.

All requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent. No Korean needed to start. About 300 places in total, which may vary by term; ask the institute before applying
- Selection: documents (50 points: education 15, grades 15, finances 10, study plan 10), then an interview in person or by video (50). Scoring 25 or less on documents, or 30 or less at interview, fails
- Applicants already in Korea with a valid visa may skip the document review and the interview
- New students pay up front for a bundle: 2 terms (6 months), or 4 terms (12 months) for Vietnamese nationals, as the Korean guide prints it. The English guide's "4 semesters" for others is overruled by the Korean text
- Payment only after final acceptance, by an individual virtual account given to those who pass the video interview. 6-month student insurance is compulsory
- Classes: 4 hours a day, 5 days a week, 10 weeks, 200 hours a term (course page). Continuing students re-register 4 weeks before the term starts
- Current Kyonggi undergraduate, graduate and exchange students get 50% off tuition
- Scholarships (no amounts printed): tuition support for those entering a Kyonggi degree, top and model students each term, high TOPIK scores and the praise campaign. Details after entry
- Kyonggi degree links: 4 terms here meet the graduate school's Korean rule; completing level 3 to 6 here earns a first-semester undergraduate scholarship
- Graduates of this institute file a 10,000,000 won bank balance for a Kyonggi undergraduate degree instead of 20,000,000
- THE 2026 GUIDE IS THE NEWEST: its last term is Winter 2026 (14 December 2026 to 25 February 2027). No 2027 term dates are published yet. The 2026 schedule may change
