All requirements

- Divorced parents: only the custodial parent's nationality counts, with government papers. Not eligible if a parent remarried a Korean national. Applicants of Korean descent prove the loss of Korean nationality
- FRESHMEN: graduated (or will graduate) from a high school in Korea or abroad. Equivalency exams (GED or the Korean one), homeschooling, cyber and adult education are NOT accepted
- YEAR 3 TRANSFER: 2 years (4 regular semesters) at a four-year university with about half the graduation credits, or a degree from a 2, 3 or 4-year college. YEAR 4 TRANSFER: graduates of a 3-year junior college only

- NO ENGLISH TRACK: all undergraduate classes are in Korean, and the guide prints no TOEFL or IELTS route
- Selection: documents 100% (transcripts, study plan, portfolio and every paper). Animation only: documents 80% plus an interview 20%, round 1 only
- One application only: not two units, and not freshman and transfer together
- Freshmen admitted to a school (학부) pick any major in it from year 2. Year-3 transfers must study at least 4 semesters here (Architecture 6); year-4 transfers may need extra semesters to graduate
- GLOBAL FREE MAJOR DIVISION (foreigners only, freshmen): a year of intensive Korean and major exploration, then a major from year 2, set by your wish, counselling and department criteria; it may not match your wish
- All colleges are on the Suwon campus except the College of Tourism and Culture, in Seoul. Papers go to Suwon only. Only the units in the guide's table are open to this route
- Graduates of a Korean high school with a school-violence measure of level 4 to 9 on record are rejected
- National Health Insurance is compulsory. Arriving more than 2 weeks after the term starts without good reason can cancel admission; registering at two universities cancels both
