Published by Kyung Hee University. Which of these a scholarship covers is decided by the school.

What do I need?

• Application form from the online system (uwayapply)
• Self-introduction and study plan, in Korean for the Korean track and English for the English track
• High school graduation or expected graduation certificate, notarised translation, issued within six months (Chinese regular high schools: CHSI report in English plus the diploma)
• Three-year high school transcript with the grading scale
• Government family relationship certificate, your passport copy and both parents' passport or ID copies (Chinese applicants: kinship certificate or household register issued within one year)
• Language proof: TOPIK, institute completion, KHU Korean Test, KIIP, Sejong, or TOEFL, IELTS or TEPS for the English track
• Arts applicants: scores, videos on USB or a portfolio; Taekwondo needs a 2nd dan
• Optional: IB, A-level, AP, Gaokao, SAT or ACT reports with login details written on them; awards, internships, volunteering
• Alien registration proof if you live in Korea on a non-D visa

ALL PAPERS GO BY POST to the Seoul campus Global Admissions Team, whichever campus you apply to. No hand delivery, no e-mail.

THE BANK CERTIFICATE (original, "valid for visa issuance") is due 8 January 2027 from admitted students. The guide prints no amount for undergraduates.

Dormitory, 2026 rates, four months paid at once, double room: Seoul Sehwawon 1,290,000 won, no cooking; Global Woojungwon 1,340,000 won, shared kitchen.

The application fee is not refunded after the deadline. You cannot apply to two Kyung Hee units, even across campuses.

All requirements

• You and both parents are foreign nationals, and the foreign nationality must date from before you started high school. A Korean dual national cannot apply
• You finish high school in Korea or abroad by the start of the semester. A GED or other equivalency exam, homeschooling, cyber schooling or adult education is NOT accepted
• KOREAN TRACK, one of: TOPIK 3 (TOPIK IBT counts); intermediate 2 finished at a Kyung Hee language institute; Kyung Hee Korean Test level 3; KIIP stage 3; King Sejong Institute intermediate 1; a Korean high school
• ENGLISH TRACK (Business Administration, Global Hospitality and Tourism, International Studies, Asian Studies): TOEFL iBT 80 (4.0 on the new scale), IELTS 6.0, New TEPS 327, or schooling in an English-speaking country
• Big Data Applications needs TOPIK 6, top 10% high school grades and a maths average of 90 or more
• Selection is 100% documents for every unit except Seoul music, dance and fine arts and Global Post Modern Music (50% documents, 50% practical). No interviews from 2027
• From 2026 admits, TOPIK 4 is needed to graduate (English track exempt). Without it you take the university Korean programme
• Medicine, dentistry, Korean medicine, pharmacy and nursing are not open to this track. Chinese nationals cannot apply to Chinese Language unless they finished a Korean high school
• Korean national health insurance is automatic while enrolled. Full refund if you withdraw by 22 January 2027
