What do I need?

• Application form, passport copy (Uzbek applicants: the international passport) and your national ID copy
• Both parents' IDs or passports (notarised translation unless in English or Chinese) and a family relationship certificate (China: kinship certificate plus notarised hukou)
• Language score within two years (TOPIK, IELTS, TOEFL iBT); language institute certificate with attendance and grades if you have one
• High school graduation (or expected) certificate and full transcript: Korea originals plus the school life record; China CHSI report in English; elsewhere apostille or consular authentication; notarised translations
• Optional: school-leaving or entrance exam score; the application-fee receipt; the signed academic verification consent
• Track II adds primary, middle and high school certificates and transcripts, and the immigration entry and exit record with its request form

THE BANK BALANCE IS 16,000,000 WON in your or a parent's name (siblings do not count), issued within 30 days of applying; admitted students file an updated one later. EXEMPT if you hold the nationality of an OECD country; residents of Korea are exempt on one page of the guide and told to file on another. Uzbekistan: KDB Bank Tashkent only, deposited a month or more.

Application fee 80,000 won or USD 60 by transfer in your own name; exempt for GKS scholars and graduates of Kyungsung's overseas language centres; refunded only before the deadline.

Insurance 37,000 won a semester to the school plus national health insurance monthly. Dormitory (Nuri Hall, building 28): 900,000 won a 16-week semester in a two-person room, 700,000 three-person (women three-person only); vacation 510,000 or 410,000.

Withdraw before the semester starts for a full refund.

All requirements

• TRACK I: you and BOTH parents are foreign nationals at the application date (a sole guardian counts alone); later-acquired nationality and Korean dual nationals are excluded. TRACK II: all schooling from primary to high school abroad
• You graduated (or will) from a regular high school. Language or prep courses, adult, correspondence or online programmes, a GED or other equivalency exam and homeschooling are NOT eligible
• KOREAN TRACK: TOPIK 3, or King Sejong intermediate 1, or level 3 at the Kyungsung centre or another university institute, or a Kyungsung overseas prep course, or KIIP stage 3, or the school's own test
• Below TOPIK 3 you do 300 hours of Korean in year one (500,000 won a semester, half subsidised in 2026)
• SCHOOL OF GLOBAL OPEN MAJORS: TOPIK 1 (or King Sejong beginner 2, institute level 2, KIIP 2, the prep course or the school test); year one is Korean and exploration, the major is assigned from year two
• ENGLISH TRACK (Global College): TOEFL 530 (iBT 59; new scale 3.5), IELTS 5.5, or the nationality of a country where English is native or official; Korea-US Business School IELTS 8.5, freshmen only. Interview in English
• THE FALL 2026 GUIDE IS THE NEWEST (window 31 March to 27 April 2026, closed). The 2027 plan says the March intake application runs about July to February with an interview worth 100 points; the Spring 2027 guide is not posted yet
• To graduate: TOPIK 4 (3 for GKS scholars, arts and PE entrants and partner-agreement students), or KIIP 4, or King Sejong intermediate 2; English track TOEFL iBT 71, IELTS 5.5, CEFR B2, New TEPS 327 or TOEIC 700
• A visa must be obtained before the semester starts and you must enter within two weeks after it; apply for the visa within five to seven days of receiving the Standard Admission Letter
