What do I need?

• Application form (original) and a passport scan
• Graduation certificate and transcript; the diploma apostilled or consul-confirmed, original
• Bank balance certificate, original
• Four-term countries: parent's employment or income certificate, both parents' IDs, birth or relationship document, transcript, notarised Korean guarantor letter

THE BANK BALANCE IS 10,000,000 WON OR THE EQUIVALENT in your own or a parent's name, issued in the application window (four-term countries: a year of funds).

Tuition per term from Summer 2026: Seoul 1,520,000 won, Yongin 1,320,000, including insurance, four textbooks and one cultural activity; transfer fee from abroad 10,000. Application fee 50,000, charged to admitted students.

Housing: 400,000 to 600,000 won a month with a deposit of 3,000,000 to 10,000,000; ask the centre before choosing housing on the form.

All requirements

• High school graduate or above; the last degree within two years (older graduates add employment or language-course certificates to explain the gap). The centre prints no nationality rule
• Two application windows before each term: the first about three months ahead, the second about two months ahead (Winter 2026: 4 to 30 September, then 1 to 16 October, result 21 October)
• 2027 windows (first and second): Spring 1 to 24 December and 28 December to 14 January; Summer 10 to 31 March and 1 to 15 April; Fall 1 to 24 June and 28 June to 8 July; Winter 1 to 23 September and 1 to 14 October
• Vietnamese applicants must apply through Myongji's offices in Hanoi (Global Admission Center) or Ho Chi Minh City (Namu Edu)
• D-4-1 VISA, FOUR TERMS (ONE YEAR) MUST BE PAID for nationals of Ghana, Nigeria, Nepal, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Mongolia, Sri Lanka, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Iran, Egypt, India and Indonesia
• Four terms also for Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Thailand, Pakistan, Peru, the Philippines, Guinea, Mali, Ethiopia, Uganda and Cameroon (the list ends with "etc."). Everyone else pays two terms
• Those nationals also file a parent's employment or income certificate, both parents' IDs, a birth or relationship document, a school transcript and a notarised guarantee from a Korean guarantor
• A visa refusal or cancellation after payment is refunded through the online refund form
• One term here earns an 800,000 won award on entering a Myongji degree; level 3 here replaces TOPIK for a Myongji undergraduate place
