- Bank balance certificate, original, issued within 30 days of the visa application: "학생 본인 명의 계좌 KRW 10,000,000원 이상". A parent's certificate needs a family relation certificate
- Parents' financial proof, originals: employment certificate, business registration, pay slip or equal, stating monthly or yearly income (notarised if translated)
- Birth certificate and family relation certificate, originals (notarised if translated); ID copies of you and your parents
- If they apply: a Korean test report; proof for any gap of 1 year or more after your last school. Documents are not returned
THE BANK BALANCE IS 10,000,000 WON OR MORE in your own name, issued within 30 days of the visa application.
Country rules printed under the bank line, copied whole: "※베트남: 잔고증명서(6개월 이상 잔액 유지) 또는 유학경비 보증금 예치확인서 ※우즈베키스탄: 현지 소재 국내 금융기관 발행 잔고증명서(3개월 이상 잔액 유지 필수)".
In English: Vietnam, a certificate with the balance kept 6 months or more, or a study-cost deposit confirmation; Uzbekistan, a certificate from a Korean bank in Uzbekistan with the balance kept 3 months or more.
Also printed: "베트남, 몽골, 우즈베키스탄, 중국 외 재외공관의 제출서류는 국가별로 다를 수 있으니, 개별 확인 후 추가 서류를 제출해 주시기 바랍니다" (papers for other consulates may differ; check and add them).
Application fee 50,000 won, not refunded, even if you give up or the visa is refused. Tuition by virtual account, domestic transfer, weekdays 9:00 to 16:00; overseas transfers count if the money arrives within 7 days of the deadline.
Refund: all before the start; after it, 2/3 before a third of the hours, 1/2 before half, nothing after half. With a D-4 visa from the institute's admission letter the first 2 terms (6 months) are not refundable. Textbooks handed out at the start are not refunded; leaving mid-term cancels scholarship benefits already given.
Alien registration fee 35,000 won (39,000 won for Vietnamese students who file a deposit, as printed). Insurance 90,000 won (group plan) until National Health Insurance applies after 6 months. Both are paid at the office after arrival.
Alien registration papers, as printed: 1 passport photo, passport and your housing contract; a contract in another person's name adds the tenant's ID copy and a 숙소제공확인서 (housing confirmation).
DORMITORY: no fee printed. The institute says it runs a dormitory for international students (undated page); the dormitory site prints no international fee. International dormitory office +82-31-870-8952.
