What do I need?
- Application form with one photo; passport copy (or ARC copy)
- Final school graduation certificate and transcript; papers not in Korean or English translated into one of them, with an apostille or a Korean embassy or consulate confirmation
- Original bank balance certificate in your own name; if it is in a parent's name, add a family relation certificate
- Family relation certificate for the 21 nationalities the Minister of Justice names (1 of 2): China, Philippines, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Mongolia, Thailand, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, India, Myanmar
- The 21 nationalities (2 of 2): Nepal, Iran, Nigeria, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, Ghana, Egypt, Peru

THE BANK BALANCE IS 10,000,000 WON OR MORE (2026 leaflet; the older web FAQ says USD 10,000), original, in your own name.
Tuition 1,480,000 won a nine-week term. The application fee and the entrance fee are not printed; payment details come after admission. Insurance is compulsory.
D-4 visa: nationals of the countries the Ministry of Justice lists as high tuberculosis risk also give the Korean embassy a TB certificate from a designated hospital (course page).
Housing: there is a dormitory but not enough rooms (no price printed). Nearby rooms about 350,000 to 500,000 won a month; goshiwon (small study rooms) 230,000 to 450,000.

All requirements
- A high school diploma (or equal) or higher
- Apply by e-mail: scan the form and every paper to [email protected], then send the originals by post or bring them. Then review, result, tuition, certificate of admission, visa, arrival and the level test
- Deadlines (2026 leaflet): Winter 2026 by 2 October; Spring 2027 by 4 January 2027; Summer by 2 April; Fall by 5 July; Winter 2027 by 1 October
- D-4: the certificate of admission is issued only if you register for at least 2 terms (6 months) in advance, and only after tuition is confirmed. Visa time varies by country, so apply early
- To move up: an overall average of 70% or more and 70% attendance; more than 4 absences means no certificate
- Refunds: full before the term (the entrance fee excepted; no amount printed); two thirds before a third of class hours; half before half; nothing after
- Winter and summer short courses with housing (no meals): 3 weeks 3,300,000 won, 2 weeks 2,200,000; winter dates run from 28 December 2026 to 20 February 2027
- Going on to Seokyeong University: the institute names a grades scholarship and an admission congratulation scholarship (no amounts printed). The university test for degree applicants is run here
