What can I study?
- Media and entertainment business, culture and arts management, AI and data, global leadership and entrepreneurship, capstone, workshops and internships
Published by Sungkyunkwan University. Which of these a scholarship covers is decided by the school.
What do I need?
- Application form, self-introduction and study plan (SKKU forms 1 to 3), in English or Korean, plus the academic record consent and request forms (forms 4 and 5)
- Colour passport copies of you and both parents (or their national ID cards), and a government family relationship or birth certificate, original or notarised
- Bachelor's graduation certificate (or expected) and official transcript, with an apostille or Korean embassy legalisation from the country where the university is
- Graduates of a university in China: a notarised degree certificate and the two CHSI online verification reports (degree and qualification), in English
- TOPIK or TOPIK IBT score report, level 4 or higher; English scores if you have them
- Overseas Koreans: transcripts and graduation certificates for every school level, apostilled or legalised
- Optional: proof of awards, scholarships, other test scores, a dissertation or a portfolio
THE BANK BALANCE IS OVER 20,000,000 WON, needed only after admission, when you apply for the Certificate of Admission. Korean or overseas bank, issued within 30 days. Changing visa inside Korea: your own account at a Korean bank.
On a scholarship? A scholarship certificate (plus a bank statement for any amount it does not cover) can replace the bank proof.
Admitted as an expected graduate? Send the degree certificate and final transcript, apostilled, by the set date or admission is cancelled. A provisional certificate does not count.
Transferred during your degree? Add the earlier university's certificate and transcript. Chinese nationals: family relation certificate or hukou, notarised within 6 months.

All requirements
- You and both parents are foreign nationals. If either parent became Korean by naturalisation, you cannot apply
- Also eligible: an overseas Korean who did ALL schooling outside Korea, or a North Korean refugee with a registration certificate
- A bachelor's degree, or one due by February 2027, or a legally equal qualification. Degrees from fully online programmes are not accepted
- TOPIK OR TOPIK IBT LEVEL 4 IS REQUIRED, still valid a month after the deadline. TOPIK Speaking does not count. English scores are optional but welcome
- Judged on your documents: there is no interview. Up to 50 students are admitted
- Already enrolled in another SKKU graduate school? If admitted here, you must withdraw from it
