What do I need?

• Application form, in English or Korean, filled in online on Uway Apply Apply
• Self-introduction and study plan, in English or Korean
• Bachelor's graduation certificate, or an expected-graduation certificate, with apostille or Korean embassy legalization. Graduates of Chinese universities send a notarized degree certificate instead
• Official transcript, with apostille or embassy legalization
• A copy of your passport (Chinese applicants add the national ID) and a copy of each parent's passport or national ID
• An original birth or family relationship certificate showing you and your parents, with a notarized translation if it is not in English
• Your Korean language certificate
• If you did all your schooling outside Korea: certificates and transcripts for every level of school, with apostille or legalization

Scan everything in colour as PDF for the online application. Admitted students then send the originals by post or in person, and nothing is returned.

Admission can be cancelled if the apostille or legalization does not arrive by the deadline.

For the visa you also need a bank balance certificate of 16,000,000 won, or 8,000,000 won if you graduated from Sun Moon.

• You and both your parents are foreign nationals, or you did all of school and university outside Korea
• A bachelor's degree, or one you finish before you start
• Korean: TOPIK level 3 or above, the internet-based test included
• Or: Sejonghakdang Korean Intermediate I or higher
• Or: stage 3 or above of the Social Integration Program, or 61 points in the pre-evaluation
• Or: you finished secondary and higher education in Korea
• An online interview
• Talk to Sun Moon's global admissions team, 041-530-2089, before you send any papers
• Meeting the language requirement makes you eligible for the electronic visa
