What can I study?
- Global Business (master's only), majors Global Business and Global Content Business. The guide does not name its teaching language; the same TOPIK 3 rule applies
Published by Seoul Women's University. Which of these a scholarship covers is decided by the school.
What do I need?
- Application (photo taken within 3 months, 3 x 4 cm); study plan with a self-introduction (master's and integrated up to 2 A4 pages, PhD up to 4); learning and research ethics pledge
- Bachelor's diploma (or expected) and transcript. PhD adds the master's diploma (or expected) and transcript, a CV, and a recommendation from your supervisor or a Korean or foreign professor
- TOPIK 3 report or the SWU Korean Language Center level 3 certificate. Foreign-university graduates add the academic record check consent and request forms
- Proof that you and both parents are foreign (passport or citizenship ID copies); alien registration card copies for residents of Korea; family relation proof as a notarised translation; extra papers for divorce, remarriage or death
- A statement of reasons only if names or family status changed. Bank balance certificate after acceptance (see below)
THE BANK BALANCE IS 20,000,000 WON OR MORE (or the same in home currency, Korean or overseas bank) in your name; a sponsor adds a study-cost pledge. Registered foreigners who studied at SWU or its Korean Language Center: 10,000,000 won.
The bank certificate comes after acceptance and must stay on deposit until entry (Fall 2026: 1 September).
Application fee: master's 70,000 won, PhD and integrated 75,000 won (5,000 won online fee included); no refund once submitted. Entrance fee 1,000,000 won, once.
SWU Korean Language Center students could send the level 3 certificate later (Fall 2026: by 14 August).
Dormitory: the graduate site describes Shalom House and the International Residence Hall but prints no fee.

All requirements
- MASTER'S or INTEGRATED: a bachelor's from a Korean or foreign university, held or expected, or a legal equivalent. PHD: a master's, held or expected. Credit-bank and self-study degree holders send certificates from NILE
- You and BOTH parents are foreign nationals, and none of you has held Korean nationality since you began your bachelor's. Korean dual nationals and stateless people cannot apply
- KOREAN: TOPIK 3, or level 3 completed at the SWU Korean Language Center. TOPIK 4 is needed before graduation
- NO ENGLISH ROUTE: no TOEFL, IELTS or TEPS option is printed, and no department accepts English in place of Korean
- THE FALL 2026 ADDITIONAL-ROUND GUIDE IS THE NEWEST (24 June to 10 July 2026, past; residents of Korea only, interviews in person). No Fall 2026 regular-round guide and no Spring 2027 guide is posted
- Selection: documents 60% and interview 40%. Missing the interview means a fail. Fine Arts and Design bring a portfolio to the interview; Clinical Nutrition (Food and Nutrition) adds a dietitian licence copy
- The guide title says the programme takes men and women, day classes
- A visa refusal cancels admission and tuition is refunded in full (after the start date, by the school refund rules). The certificate of admission is issued once only, after tuition is paid
