What do I need?
- Application form (school form); passport copy and one photo on a white background
- Final school diploma and transcript; TOPIK report if you have one
- Bank balance certificate of 10,000,000 won or more (whose name is not printed)
- Academic verification (apostille or consular confirmation) and a personal reference form, for these nationalities (1 of 2): Ghana, Nigeria, Nepal, Mongolia, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Uzbekistan, Ukraine
- The same (2 of 2): Iran, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Thailand, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines
- Also for Vietnam, Mongolia, China and Uzbekistan: family relation certificate, parents' ID, and income or property proof of you or your family
- Dormitory residents: chest X-ray (TB) report taken in your home country within 3 months of move-in, and a measles vaccination certificate (English); copies go to the dormitory office

Application fee 85,000 won (not refundable); tuition 1,500,000 won a term (books extra); insurance 75,000 won for two terms (not refundable).
Dormitory (International Education Hall, women only): three-person room, 779,200 won for 13 weeks (759,200 won rent plus 20,000 won move-in, meals not included).

All requirements
- Men and women who have finished high school (or will soon) may apply. The center's dormitory is for women only
- Steps: send the papers, review, admission notice with an invoice, pay, certificate of admission, visa, arrival and move-in, orientation and placement test, classes
- Four terms a year (spring, summer, fall, winter), 10 weeks and 200 hours each. Application opening dates are not printed, and the page says dates may change
- Deadlines: Winter 2026 by 30 September 2026; Spring 2027 by 31 December 2026; Summer 2027 by 26 March 2027; Fall 2027 by 25 June 2027; Winter 2027 by 24 September 2027
- To complete a level: exam 80% and everyday score 20%; 60 or more in each of speaking, listening, reading and writing; attendance 80% or more
- D-4-1 visa with the certificate of admission and the tuition payment proof: 6 months, extendable up to 2 years; after the course you go on to study or go home. The minimum number of terms for a D-4 is not printed
- C-3-1 (short stay): 30 days, extendable up to 90
- Health insurance is compulsory: show a valid Korean policy, or join the school group plan after arrival
- Refunds: full before the course; after it starts, by the share of class days passed (table on the admission page). A visa refusal is refunded in full
- Free extras: Korean helper students, conversation practice with SWU students, one culture outing a term. Airport pick-up 40,000 to 110,000 won a person; ask for dates
- No Korean Language Center scholarship is printed on its pages
