What do I need?
- Application form (Korean, English, Chinese or Vietnamese) and a passport copy; alien registration card if you have one
- Final school graduation certificate and transcript (high school or above)
- Self-introduction and study plan in Korean or English
- Family relation certificate and the bank balance certificate; the English brochure adds the sponsor's employment and income certificates
THE BANK BALANCE IS 8,000,000 WON on a six-month basis (Korean brochure); the English brochure says "around USD 9,000 for six months".
Per term: application fee 80,000 won, tuition 1,300,000, two-person dormitory 792,000 (Haengbok Hall 1) or 801,000 (Gyeongbuk Global Exchange Center) plus a 100,000 deposit; printed total 2,272,000.

All requirements
- Apply about two months before the term from abroad (Winter 2026 by 19 October, Spring 2027 by 19 January); the deadline may be extended by nationality; the admission decision comes about ten days after submission
- Visa papers are issued after tuition is paid; leaving the course ends the D-4 visa
- Full refund before the term starts; afterwards by the institute's rules
- Academic Excellence Scholarship A: 10% off, B: 5%; a gift for perfect attendance; up to eight credits recognised on entering a Yeungnam degree
- A year here upgrades the Yeungnam entrance scholarship by one TOPIK level, and completers need only 8,000,000 won in the bank for the degree
- Paid pick-up from Daegu Airport or Dongdaegu Station for dormitory residents
