What do I need?
- Online application, with scans of your passport, a photo and your final academic certificate
- Diploma or graduation certificate, apostilled or notarised by the Korean embassy within the last 6 months. University graduates send the degree
- A bank balance certificate over USD 10,000, original, signed and stamped by the bank
- Family relationship or birth certificate, apostilled, if the bank account is a parent's
- Applicants from the 26 named countries: an apostilled transcript, and the family document in every case
- Proof you paid the 120,000 application fee
NOT APPLYING FOR A D-4? You post nothing: upload your passport, photo and diploma, and pay online.
D-4 APPLICANTS POST THE ORIGINALS to KLI, Room 201, Yonsei University, Seoul. KLI does not tell you they arrived, so keep the tracking number.
Nothing you post is returned. If you have only one original diploma, apostille a copy.
The certificate of admission is issued after your tuition is paid. You then apply for the D-4 at the Korean embassy at home.
