Automatic with admission to the University of Seoul General Graduate School, by rank inside each department: doctoral students in the top 70% get a full tuition scholarship and master's students in the top 70% a half one. New students are ranked by admission score (documents and oral exam), later by GPA. It comes off the tuition bill in advance; there is no form.

- What the share is of: the Korean guide says "full" and "half" scholarship, given as a cut to the tuition bill (등록금 사전감면). The school's English 2027 graduate guide (August 2026) words them "full tuition" and "50% tuition" scholarships
- A student with an outside scholarship cannot also take an on-campus tuition-reduction scholarship
