Governance Affairs Intern, Board Affairs (USD 1,600 a Month, French or Portuguese an Advantage) — Green Climate Fund (Incheon)

The Green Climate Fund is taking on an intern in the Board Affairs Team of its Office of Governance Affairs, in Songdo. The pay is published, and the notice names French, Spanish and Portuguese as an advantage, which is unusual for a post in Korea.

■ Duties
- Supporting the organisation of Board meetings, including preparatory sessions and coordination across the Secretariat.
- Helping run, track and follow up Board consultations on policy items.
- Contributing to the Board documentation process.
- Other related tasks supporting the team.

■ Who can apply
- Students enrolled on a master's programme in business, finance, climate change, sustainability or a related field, with knowledge or experience of investments, financial institutions or climate change. Experience of how international organisations work is treated as an asset. The notice states that fluency in English is essential, and that knowledge of another United Nations language, in particular French and Spanish, or Portuguese, is an advantage. It adds that applications from women and nationals of developing countries are strongly encouraged.

- USD 1,600 a month for six months, starting in January 2027.
