Postdoctoral Position in Quantum Matter Theory (Announcement in English) — APCTP (Pohang)

The Asia-Pacific Center for Theoretical Physics, based on the POSTECH campus in Pohang, is recruiting one postdoctoral researcher for its Quantum Matter Theory junior research group. The whole announcement is published in English and applications go directly to the group leader by email.

■ Duties
- A one-year postdoctoral fellowship in theoretical physics within the Quantum Matter Theory group. The notice says the successful candidate is expected to take an active part in group collaborations, to interact with members at the centre and at partner institutes, and to pursue independent research projects.

■ Who can apply
- A PhD in theoretical or computational magnetism, condensed matter physics, or a closely related field, held by the starting date. Preference goes to people working on topological magnetism, nonlinear spin wave theory, atomistic spin simulations or micromagnetic simulations.

■ Terms
- One year, extendable by one further year. The start can be as early as 1 December 2026. Pay is not stated in the notice.
