Postdoctoral Researcher, 21 Positions (Announcement Written for Non-Korean Speakers) — KRISS (Daejeon)

The Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science, a government-funded research institute in Daejeon, is recruiting postdoctoral researchers across 21 positions. This is the rare Korean research call written for foreign applicants: the English announcement opens with the line that it is for foreigners who have difficulty using Korean.

- Strategic technology: semiconductor metrology, metrological scanning electron microscopy, and superconducting quantum processor design, fabrication and control.

■ Who can apply
- Those who received their PhD within the past seven years as of the scheduled employment date, or who expect to receive it within three months of that date.

■ Terms
- A contract of up to five years, renewed each year. Employment is scheduled to start on 1 December 2026. On pay, the notice says only that the wage is decided through career grading applied to regular employees under the institute's own evaluation criteria, so no figure is published.
