What do I need?

• Application form including a self-introduction and study plan, academic record check consent, personal information consent and official language score report: filed online on the Institute of International Education site
• Previous degree certificate (graduation or expected; university or graduate school) and its transcript, each with an apostille or consular confirmation
• China: a CHSI (学信网) enrolment or graduation verification report with a 6-month validity set (유효기간 6개월 설정); transcripts need an English or Korean translation
• Family relation certificate (가족관계증명서)
• Passport copies: yours and one each of your father and mother (a copy of another ID if a parent has no passport)
• Alien registration card copy, if you hold one (해당자에 한함)
• Bank balance certificate: KRW 16,000,000 or more, or the equivalent in foreign currency

BANK BALANCE: KRW 16,000,000 or more, or the equivalent in foreign currency, filed with the application papers. Whose name and the holding period are not printed.

Application fee 100,000 won (international special track). The Graduate School's domestic round charges 50,000 won; that is a different track.

ENTRANCE FEE: the amount is not published; the 2026 tuition minute only says the graduate 입학금 was frozen. Ask the Graduate School office (061-330-3092 to 3094) before you budget.

Tuition figures are 2026 rates and may change for 2027 (guide note). The table prints no period; the school bills each semester (Graduate School registration page).

Dormitory: 1,130,000 won for 6 months, no meals, 2 to a room; stay limited to one semester. 2026 rate, may change. International new-student support service fee 400,000 won (orientation, required training, registration help, one year of insurance).

The Graduate School's own 2027 brochure marks Software Convergence (Software major), Global Business and K-Business Information Technology as recruited "외국인 유학생 위주" (mainly international students).

All requirements

• You and both parents hold foreign nationality; dual nationals cannot apply ("부모와 학생 모두 외국국적을 가진 외국인(단, 복수국적자 제외)")
• MASTER'S: a bachelor's from a university in Korea or abroad, held or expected before the entry date. PHD: a master's, held or expected before the entry date. Or an equal level recognised by law
• KOREAN TRACK: regular TOPIK 3 or higher, or DS-TOPIK 3 or higher taken at the school. Without it you must complete a separate Korean course the school runs (announced separately)
• ENGLISH TRACK, one of: IELTS Academic 5.5; New TEPS 326; TOEFL iBT 80 for tests taken up to 20 January 2026, or 4.0 for tests from 21 January 2026. Nationals of English native or official countries (Ministry of Justice list) are exempt
• Only scores valid on the application deadline count. Selection: interview only (100 points) on motivation, study ability, language and character; under 70 fails; absence or judged lack of ability fails; face to face or by phone or video
• ENGLISH-TRACK DEPARTMENTS, the whole list: master's Software Convergence (Software major, General); master's Global Business and TESOL (Social Development); PhD Software Convergence (Software major); PhD Business Administration
• TUITION (등록금), 2026 rates, may change for 2027; the table prints no period and the school bills each semester: master's 3,436,000 to 4,331,000 won and PhD 4,074,000 to 5,549,000 won by field (see each row)
• ENTRANCE FEE: an amount exists but is not published. The tuition committee (28 January 2026) froze the graduate 입학금; the Graduate School's scholarship table shares "입학금 + 수업료". Ask the Graduate School office
• Other first-semester charges: dormitory 1,130,000 won for 6 months (2026 rate, no meals, stay limited to one semester) and an international new-student support service fee of 400,000 won
• Departments marked * in the guide also run an integrated master's and PhD course (석·박사통합과정). The Graduate School of Social Development (사회개발대학원) is an evening school (야간)
• Only the Chinese version of the guide marks some units ★ "中文翻译授课" (taught with Chinese translation); the Korean and English guides do not. Each row's department list names its marked units; ask the office
• After application no cancellation or change; papers and fees are not refunded. No leave in the first semester (except illness, pregnancy, childbirth, child care). Double registration cancels the admission
• A final visa refusal can cancel the admission. False entries mean failure or a cancelled admission; with fraud (a proxy interview, false papers) paid tuition is not refunded and you cannot apply for 3 years
• During the application window you may have your eligibility checked in advance with your papers (지원자격 사전 심사). You must check the results yourself
• Matters not printed are decided by the 대학원위원회. The Graduate School's domestic round (19 November to 9 December 2026, fee 50,000 won, documents 50% plus interview 50%) is a different track with its own guide
