What can I study?

Published by Inje University. Which of these a scholarship covers is decided by the school.

What do I need?

• Application form (attachment 1), one passport-style photo, and a recommendation (attachment 2) from a professor, adviser or department head of your previous university
• Bachelor's graduation (or expected graduation) certificate and original transcript, including grades from before any transfer. PhD applicants add the master's degree (or expected) certificate and original transcript
• Degree certificates from abroad need an apostille or Korean consular confirmation
• Graduates of universities in China: copies of the degree and graduation certificates with the verification report from chsi.com.cn, or an apostilled degree certificate
• Applied on an expected-degree certificate? The official one is due before the results date (university abroad: apostilled or consular-confirmed) or before the semester starts (Korean university), or admission can be cancelled
• Official English score report (IELTS, TOEFL, TEPS and so on) or TOPIK score report, whichever applies, earned within 2 years of the closing date
• A paper proving who you are and the nationality of you and your parents (for example a birth certificate or family relation certificate); the academic record check consent (attachment 3)
• Scholarship application (attachment 4), required of every applicant; the pledge of full-time student duties (attachment 5) only if you ask for the 85% award
• Proof of finances, original: a bank balance certificate of 16,000,000 won or more, or the financial guarantee (attachment 6) written by your intended adviser at Inje
• If they apply: passport copy, alien registration card copy, research papers or awards

THE BANK BALANCE IS 16,000,000 WON OR MORE, original, from your or a parent's bank account, issued within 30 days of the application date and filed WITH the application.

Instead of the bank certificate, the original financial guarantee (attachment 6) written by your intended adviser at Inje is accepted.

Application fee: master's 50,000 won or USD 50; PhD and combined course 70,000 won or USD 70; Global Nursing 90,000 won. No refund after receipt. The account is sent to you after the online application.

Tuition a semester (2026 basis; next year's may change): humanities and social sciences 4,447,000 (PhD 4,618,000); natural sciences 5,284,000 (5,483,000); engineering, arts and PE 6,098,000 (6,325,000); medicine 6,792,000 (7,528,000).

Entrance fee 802,000 won, apart from tuition, paid once in the first semester. Global Nursing (master's): 8,500,000 won a semester, 4 semesters, no scholarships.

Dormitory (2026 basis): Injeong Hall (Bio-tech Village), Gimhae campus, two-person room with its own bathroom, 800,000 won a semester (16 weeks), no meals.

Busan campus (Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences students): an apartment-type dormitory for a maintenance fee; no amount is printed. No meals.

The tuition bill is sent to you; admission is cancelled if it is not paid within the registration period (no dates printed). Students get reduced medical fees at the university's Paik hospitals.

After admission you are enrolled in National Health Insurance. Unpaid premiums can limit extending or changing your stay, dormitory entry, scholarship recommendation and course registration.

All requirements

• One of two: you are a foreign national whose parents both hold foreign nationality; or you are a foreign national who completed, abroad, schooling equal to Korean primary, secondary and university education
• Master's: a bachelor's degree, held or expected, from a regular university in Korea or abroad. PhD: a master's degree, held or expected. Combined master's and PhD: the same as the master's
• LANGUAGE, Korean OR English. Korean: TOPIK 3 or higher; or Ministry of Justice KIIP level 3 or higher; or King Sejong Institute (offline) intermediate 1 or higher; or level 4 or higher of Inje's own Korean course
• English: TOEFL iBT 71 or higher, IELTS 5.5, CEFR B2 or NEW TEPS 326 or higher, as printed. Nationals of countries where English is the mother tongue or legal official language may show proof of higher education taught in English instead
• The language rule can be relaxed for GKS scholars, foreign government scholars and entrants accepted as special cases by the graduate admission committee. Score reports must be earned within 2 years of the closing date
• Selection: a document review, then an interview for those who pass it, in person at the department or by online video; the department tells you the method and date. Music holds a practical test

• "English use" in the lists below is the share of classes run in English, as the guide prints it for each department: 100%, 50% or more, or none. Departments, degrees, majors and English use can change
• Places: a few per department and degree, outside the regular quota. Combined-course students pay the PhD tuition rate
• FALL 2026 GUIDE (the newest; Korean prevails). Its window, 4 to 29 May 2026, has passed. No Spring 2027 international graduate notice was on the board on 14 October 2026
• Timing hints only, not 2027 dates: last year's Spring notice was posted on 7 November 2025 with applications 10 November to 5 December 2025. The 2026 leaflet says Spring entry applies in November with results in January
• The Graduate School's own "2027 Spring early round" guide (28 September to 16 October 2026) is the general guide; the graduate site sends international applicants to the international office, so do not use its dates
• Global MBA entrants cannot get the full-time scholarship; they get 30% of tuition off instead
