What do I need?

• Checklist and application form printed from uwayapply
• Language proof (TOPIK, KIIP, Sejong, TOEFL, IELTS or TEPS)
• Self-introduction and study plan
• Passport copy, alien registration card copy if you hold one, Chinese ID for Chinese nationals
• Degree and graduation certificates with notarised translations, issued within six months (Chinese universities: CHSI reports)
• Proof the university is accredited: a WHED page, embassy letter, consular confirmation, or US DAPIP or CHEA listing
• Transcripts with the GPA scale
• Both parents' passports and a family relationship certificate
• Department extras: a professor's recommendation for science, engineering, medicine and interdisciplinary departments; scholarship form and publication pledge; music repertoire form

ALL GRADUATE PAPERS GO BY POST to the Global campus Global Admissions Team, Woojungwon room 108, Yongin, whichever campus the department is on.

THE BANK BALANCE IS 20,000,000 WON or the equivalent, in your name, a parent's or, if parents are deceased, a sibling's, issued within 30 days of the Certificate of Admission request and frozen until admission. Due 11 January 2027 16:00 with apostilled final certificates.

Tuition cannot be paid by card or through an agent. Hana Bank virtual account.

All requirements

• You and both parents are foreign nationals on 7 September 2026. A Korean dual national cannot apply
• A bachelor's (master's or integrated course) or a master's (PhD) held or conferred by 28 February 2027
• KOREAN, one of: TOPIK 4 (IBT counts); a Korean-language degree from a foreign university; four semesters at a Korean university; KIIP stage 4; Sejong intermediate 2
• ENGLISH instead, only in departments that allow it: TOEFL iBT 80 (4.0 new scale), IELTS 6.0 or TEPS 326, or a degree from an English-speaking country
• ENGLISH INSTEAD OF KOREAN: every Global campus science and engineering department, and Architecture, accepts it; in Seoul so do English literature, physics, chemistry, biology, neuroscience, dentistry and the medical sciences
• English-only departments: Global Hospitality and Tourism, Mathematics and Information Display (Seoul), English Language and Culture (Global). The full table is GR p.23 to 27
• Quota "a few" per department; a department may take nobody. Selection is document screening, plus an online interview or practical where listed
• Convergence Korean Studies is fully online and gives no D-2 visa. Law PhD and Parliamentary Studies are not in this track
• Full refund if you withdraw by 26 February 2027 17:00
