What do I need?
- Application form (guide form, original, with a 3 x 4 cm photo pasted) and study plan (guide form, original)
- High school graduation (or expected) certificate and full transcript. Schooled in China: general high schools file the Ministry of Education 학력·학위인증보고서 (original); vocational, technical and other high schools an apostille (original)
- Schooled outside China: apostille or consular confirmation, notarised translation. Transfers file the university graduation, completion or enrolment certificate and full transcript instead (China: 학력·학위인증보고서)
- Your ID copy (alien registration card or passport; transfers: passport). Nationality proof of you and both parents, 1 copy each
- Family relation certificate from a government body. Chinese nationals: your and your parents' hukou (copy) and a kinship certificate (notarised translation). Others: a government paper on your relation to both parents, notarised translation
- Bank balance certificate of the financial guarantor, 16,000,000 won or more (original). F-4 visa holders are exempt
- Alien registration card copy (student and parents) if you hold one. Language test report (copy), valid on the filing date, if you hold one
- Personal information consent (guide form, original). Applicants recommended under an agreement: the agreement's admission papers including the recommendation (original)
THE BANK BALANCE IS 16,000,000 WON OR MORE in the financial guarantor's name (재정보증인), original, filed with the papers. No deposit period is printed in the 2027 guide (the 2026 guide asked 1 month or more and an income certificate).
F-4 visa holders need no bank certificate. The application form carries a pledge by a parent or sponsor to bear all costs of your study.
Application fee 27,000 won: billed only to admitted students, paid with the first tuition. Nothing is paid to apply. No refund rule is printed.
Tuition: the Spring 2027 guide prints no amount. The 국제처 page (undated) prints a table labelled 2023학년도 기준 by old department names; see the requirements. No entrance fee is printed anywhere.
Dormitory (guide table, September 2026 semester, meals not included). Rooms marked 유학생, all listed under 남학생: Global Hall 2-person 880,000, 3-person 780,000, 4-person 680,000; E-dong 4th floor 880,000; A-dong 2-person 654,000, 3-person 580,000 won.
Columns with no 유학생 mark: 남학생 E-dong 2-person 772,000 and C-dong 4-person 525,000; 여학생 D-dong 2-person 772,000 and B-dong 4-person 525,000 won. Each figure includes 10,000 won dues and a 20,000 won deposit. 2027 fees and rooms may change.
The dormitory's notice of 2026-07-21 (2026 second semester, 30 August to 14 December) adds compulsory weekday meals of 315,000 won: 2-person D or E 1,087,000; 2-person A 969,000; 3-person A 895,000; 4-person B or C 840,000 won.
Global Hall and E-dong 4th floor are the international-student buildings (dormitory notice of 2026-10-28). Dormitory office +82-54-479-1396 to 8.
Results are posted on the dates in the round notes; an admitted student who does not pay tuition in the window loses the place. Expected graduates file the final certificate before entry.

All requirements
- 2023 TABLE (same department names): Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Dental Hygiene, Clinical Laboratory Science, natural sciences band, 4,045,000 won for the admission semester and 3,905,000 for years 2 to 4
- Nursing (간호학과) is on the school site but not in the 2027 international table
- You are a foreign national and BOTH parents are foreign nationals. It counts only if you and both parents held foreign nationality before you entered high school; dual nationals: all of you must have lost Korean nationality before then
- FRESHMEN: graduated (or about to) from schooling equal to Korean elementary, middle and high school, in Korea or abroad. School-leaving exams (검정고시), homeschooling and cyber learning are NOT accepted in any track
- TRANSFERS (separate guide, same dates and fee): year 3 needs a junior college diploma or 2 years (4 semesters) at a 4-year university; year 4 needs a 3-year junior college diploma in the same or a similar major
- KOREAN (one of): TOPIK 3 or higher; Kyungwoon's own Korean test level 3 or higher, or level 3 of Kyungwoon's Korean course; King Sejong Institute intermediate or SKA level 3; KIIP stage 3 or pre-test 61 points
- OR ENGLISH, as printed: "TOEFL 530(CBT 197, IBT 3.5), IELTS 5.5, TEPS 600점(NEW TEPS 326점), CEFR B2, 또는 TOEIC 600점 이상". The Spring 2026 guide printed IBT 71; the 2027 guide uses the new TOEFL scale
- OR a recommendation from the head of a partner higher-education institution or a Kyungwoon overseas centre. Admission under an agreement may set its own Korean bar (guide p.4)
- The bar may be relaxed for ministry-recommended 위탁생, exchange students, government, local-government and foreign-government scholarship students, arts and sport entrants, foreigner-only departments (transfers: bilingual-course entrants)
- English native-country rule, as printed: nationals of the 7 countries "미국, 영국, 캐나다, 남아공, 뉴질랜드, 호주, 아일랜드" (USA, UK, Canada, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, Ireland), or those schooled there (secondary), meet it with school papers
- TOPIK 2 or lower, or no TOPIK: you must take the school's separate Korean classes (compulsory). Kyungwoon's own Korean test may be held abroad through partner universities and local centres
- Selection: documents 100% (eligibility review), every unit. Scores are not disclosed. Missing papers or unmet eligibility means a fail. No interview is listed
- No online application: send the papers to 국제처 (building 2, room 215) inside the round's window. Report any contact change to +82-54-479-4058. Nothing can be corrected or cancelled after filing
- APPLICATION FEE 27,000 won is billed only to admitted students and paid together with the first tuition (guide section 8). Applicants who are not admitted pay nothing
- TUITION: the Spring 2027 guide prints none. The newest table the school prints (국제처 page, undated, labelled "2023학년도 기준") gives 3,170,000 to 5,005,000 won for the admission semester by 2023 department; no 2027 figure exists
- That 2023 table prints a second figure for years 2 to 4, 140,000 won lower in every row, and no entrance fee line; the page does not explain the gap. Ask 국제처 (+82-54-479-4058) before you budget
- Each unit takes "약간 명" (a few). Department names may change after entry under the school rules; you may change major after year 1. Registering at two universities cancels the admission
- A refused visa or failure to enter Korea in time cancels the admission. Expected graduates must file the final graduation certificate before entry or lose the place
- False papers or any other dishonest route cancel the pass or the admission, before or after entry. The school may ask for papers beyond the list, and you must file them (guide p.3 and p.4)
- TO GRADUATE: TOPIK 4 or higher ("4급 이상이어야 졸업이 가능"). In semesters 1 and 2 you take the school's level-based Korean classes (교양한국어) before other courses (국제처 page, tab 교양 한국어 안내, undated)
- DORMITORY: international special-admission entrants are placed first for one semester, then by penalty points and grades. Apply with the application. TB test result (within 2 months) on move-in day; unfit for shared living means leaving
