Published by Woosuk University. Which of these a scholarship covers is decided by the school.

What do I need?

• Application form and study plan (school forms)
• University (or graduate school) graduation or expected-graduation certificate. Printed for China: the Chinese original notarised by a Chinese notary office. Other countries abroad: apostille or Korean consular confirmation
• Graduates of Korean universities file an electronic certificate with its internet issue number. Expected graduates file the final certificate before entry or fail
• Transcript with the final CGPA or percentage, verified the same way. If the scale is not shown, add proof of the scale; if no CGPA or percentage is shown, add the WES (wes.org) or scholaro.com conversion with all grades entered
• Government-issued certificate of the relationship between you and your parents, translation notarised within 3 months of filing (example printed: Chinese nationals file the notarised 친족관계증명서)
• ID copies of you, your father and your mother; death or divorce certificate where a parent has died or the parents are divorced
• Financial papers: parents' employment and income certificates (originals and translations) and the bank balance certificate (see the notes)
• Passport copy and alien registration card copy (front and back) if you hold them. Language report if you hold one: WOW-TOPIK 3, TOPIK 3 or higher, King Sejong intermediate 1, or the English scores in the requirements
• Printed for China ([참고 1]): graduates print the graduation verification from www.chsi.com.cn; current students the enrolment or 학력인증보고서. [참고 2]: no separate parents' papers ONLY IF you and both parents are on the same 호구부
• Printed ([참고 2]): 고려인 living in Russia, Uzbekistan or Kazakhstan file an official paper proving that status; a 호구부 split into several books needs a kinship certificate from the police station

THE BANK BALANCE IS KRW 16,000,000 (USD 13,000) OR MORE. The document table says: issued within 30 days of the standard admission letter date.

The same guide's [참고 3] says: in the guarantor's name, USD $13,000 or more, issued within 30 days of the application date, or a domestic remittance or exchange certificate.

[참고 3] adds: a certificate with a validity period is accepted to that date, but only if issued within 6 months of the application deadline.

Application fee 100,000 won (the graduate school's domestic guide prints 50,000 won for its own track). Not refunded once received; part or all (less the 원서접수 수수료) can be refunded for a disaster, illness or accident not of your making.

ENTRANCE FEE 637,000 WON, ONCE, in its own column beside first-semester tuition (2026 rates; 2027 may change). Tuition is billed per 1학기 (first semester) in the table.

Round 1 admitted students file a registration pledge (등록확약) 1 to 4 December 2026 on the international office site; everyone pays tuition 4 to 8 January 2027; the standard admission letter follows in January.

Expected graduates who do not file the graduation certificate before entry fail, and the fee is not refunded. Forged papers cancel the admission and paid tuition is kept.

NO DORMITORY FEE IS PRINTED. Capacity: Jeonju campus 우석헌 1,500 beds (office 생활관); Jincheon campus 우석헌 232 beds and 학사마을 flats 252 beds (office 학생복지센터).

Refund: all 등록금 back until the day before the semester; all 수업료 back until the day before classes; after that the graduate school's rules apply. Refund window "to be announced".

A correction on the application form must carry your own signature; papers and the fee are not returned. The school may ask for papers beyond this list (guide p.7).

The forms pack (from PDF p.18) also holds a doctor's certificate of health (chest X-ray, hepatitis B, tuberculosis, measles and more). The document table does not list it: ask whether to file it.

The application form asks for a photo 3 cm x 4 cm taken within the last 3 months. Its English page says a student should buy a health insurance policy for the stay; no price is printed.

All requirements

• You and BOTH parents hold foreign nationality
• MASTER'S and integrated course: a bachelor's from a university in Korea or abroad, held or expected by February 2027, or an equal level recognised by law. PHD: a master's, held or expected by February 2027
• Transfers (not into the integrated course): master's semester 2 after 1 semester and 6 credits at a graduate school, semester 3 after 2 semesters and 12 credits
• PhD transfers: semester 2 after 1 semester and 9 credits at a graduate school, semester 3 after 2 semesters and 18 credits
• LANGUAGE (school rule 외국인학생규정 article 3), one of: TOPIK 3 or TOPIK IBT 3; or TOEFL 530 (CBT 197, IBT 71), IELTS 5.5, CEFR B2, TEPS 600 (NEW TEPS 326) or an equal approved English test
• Counted as TOPIK 3: WOW-TOPIK 3; 3 or more semesters of the regular course at the school's Korean Language Education Support Center; entry under a partner-university agreement
• Also counted as TOPIK 3: King Sejong Institute intermediate 1 completed (beginner 2 for science, engineering, arts and sport fields)
• The Korean standard may be relaxed (rule set separately) for exchange students, government scholars, foreign-government scholars, arts and sport departments, science and engineering graduate entrants and bilingual-course entrants
• Counted as meeting the English standard, as printed: nationals of 미국, 캐나다, 영국, 남아공, 뉴질랜드, 호주, 아일랜드 (USA, Canada, UK, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, Ireland)
• Also counted as meeting the English standard: secondary and higher schooling completed in an English-mother-tongue country
• TOEFL is printed on the old scale (IBT 71); no figure on the 1 to 6 scale is given. Language standards may change with the 교육국제화역량인증제 evaluation
• Selection: documents 50 points (financial papers, self-introduction, study plan, language) and an interview 50 points: in person at a place the faculty sets for residents in Korea; non-face-to-face for applicants abroad
• No online portal: download the form from the Global Education Support Center site and file the originals (a copy only after a staff member checks it). Postmark of the deadline day counts. Places: 적정인원
• TO GRADUATE you need TOPIK 4 or higher, or must complete a separate Korean language programme (guide note)
• TUITION (2026 rates, 2027 may change), 1학기 수업료 as printed, master's / PhD: humanities and social 3,888,000 / 4,352,000; science and sport 4,662,500 / 5,280,500
• Engineering and arts 5,440,000 / 5,929,000; pharmacy and Korean pharmacy 5,440,000 / 5,929,000; Korean medicine 7,062,500 / 7,326,000 (2026 rates, master's / PhD)
• ENTRANCE FEE 637,000 WON, printed in its own column for every department (2026). The guide's tuition table covers the General Graduate School; the special graduate schools listed for this track have no tuition row in it
• Course length as printed: General Graduate School 4 semesters (일반전형 2년제); some departments also run a 3-year Korean track (한국어트랙 3년제) or a 2-year English track; 경영문화대학원 5 semesters
• Campuses: each department's campus is in the majors list. The international office and the paper address are on the Jeonju campus (Wanju, Jeonbuk); Jincheon campus departments are marked (진천)
