- Creative Writing (freshmen and transfers); undeclared-major division 휴먼테크자율전공학부(진천), 통합모집 (freshmen)
- Police Science (경찰학과): transfers only
- The department pages (PDF p.27) also describe 경찰범죄심리학과 (Police and Criminal Psychology, marked new), which is in neither recruitment table nor the tuition table: ask

- Jincheon campus: Counselling Psychology (상담심리학과), Sports Marketing (스포츠마케팅학과), Fashion Styling (패션스타일링학과)
Published by Woosuk University. Which of these a scholarship covers is decided by the school.
What do I need?
- Application form, self-introduction and study plan (school forms, Korean or English), and the personal-information consent form
- Final school graduation (or expected) certificate and transcript showing the GPA and its scale, each verified: apostille or Korean consular confirmation; schools in China file a CHSI report or the equal verification
- Printed for China ([참고 1]): high school graduates file the 会考 English certificate or the 高考 certificate from www.cdgdc.edu.cn; university graduates or students print the verification or enrolment report from www.chsi.com.cn
- Your passport copy. Nationality and family proof, notarised: passports or nationality certificates of you and your parents, family relation or birth certificate. Chinese nationals: a 호구부 copy including every family member
- Printed ([참고 2]): Chinese applicants need no separate parents' nationality and family papers ONLY IF you and both parents are on the same 호구부; a 호구부 split into several books needs a kinship certificate from the police station
- Printed ([참고 2]): 고려인 (ethnic Koreans) living in Russia, Uzbekistan or Kazakhstan must file an official paper proving that status. Divorced or deceased parents: the government divorce or death certificate
- Language proof: TOPIK 3 or higher (TOPIK 2 for science, engineering, arts and sport fields), WOW-TOPIK 3, King Sejong intermediate 1, or for the English track TOEFL 530 (CBT 197, IBT 71), IELTS 5.5, CEFR B2 or TEPS 600 (NEW TEPS 326)
- Financial papers: the guarantor's (parents') employment and income certificates, originals and translations, and the bank balance certificate (see the notes)
- TRANSFERS add: previous university graduation (or completion) certificate and transcript, verified the same way (apostille or consular confirmation; CHSI for China), GPA and scale shown
- Residents in Korea add: alien registration card copy and papers on enrolment and attendance at a Korean university
THE BANK BALANCE IS KRW 16,000,000 (USD 13,000 상당) OR MORE. The document table says: issued within 30 days of the standard admission letter (표준입학허가서) date.
The same guide's [참고 3] says: in the financial guarantor's name (the table says parents), USD $13,000 or more, issued within 30 days of the application date, or a domestic remittance or exchange certificate.
[참고 3] adds: a certificate with a validity period counts until that date, but only one issued within 6 months of the application deadline.
A relative as guarantor needs a government paper proving the relationship; a Korean third party as guarantor needs proof of the relationship and an explanation ([참고 2]).
Application fee 100,000 won. Not refunded once the application is received; part or all (less the 원서접수 수수료) can be refunded if a disaster, illness or accident not of your making stops you from sitting the screening.
Results on the center site; tuition 1 to 4 December 2026 (round 1) or 4 to 8 January 2027 (round 2); the standard admission letter follows in December or January. Admitted expected graduates file the final certificate later.
NO ENTRANCE FEE AND NO DORMITORY FEE ARE PRINTED. Tuition is the 2026 rate; 2027 may change. A notice of 2026-10-29 explains paying tuition through the HeyYoung app.
Dormitory capacity only (no fee printed): Jeonju campus 우석헌, 1,500 beds in four halls (733 double rooms, 68 triple, 2 larger), office 생활관; Jincheon campus 우석헌 232 beds in 116 double rooms and 학사마을 one-room flats 252 beds, office 학생복지센터.
Withdrawal: 입학포기원 (school form), the bank's tuition receipt, ID and bank book copies. Full refund until the day before the semester; the refund window is "to be announced".
The school may ask for papers beyond this list; for students entering under an agreement with a partner university abroad it may add or drop papers as needed (guide p.7).
False, forged or altered papers, or failing a requirement, can cancel the admission even after results; the school may check your schooling, nationality and family papers with the issuing bodies; papers are not returned (p.9).
The forms pack (from PDF p.31) also holds a health self-checklist and a doctor's certificate of health (chest X-ray, hepatitis B, tuberculosis and more). The document table does not list them: ask whether to file them.
The application form (중요사항 1) says every Woosuk student must join the insurance the school designates; no price is printed. The form also offers a dormitory and meal choice, with meals at extra cost.

All requirements
- You and BOTH parents hold foreign nationality: you hold no Korean nationality, neither parent holds Korean nationality, and you can file papers proving the nationality of all three
- FRESHMEN: graduated, or graduating before entry, from a high school after the full course equal to Korean primary and secondary school, in Korea or abroad. The guide does not say whether equivalency exams count: ask
- TRANSFERS into year 3: 2 years (4 semesters) or more at a 4-year university with 60 credits or more, or a junior college graduate with 65 credits or more; expected graduates and expected credits count for both
- TRANSFERS into year 4: graduates (or expected graduates) of a 3-year junior college in the same or a similar field
- Year 2 transfer is only for students entering under an official inter-university exchange or entrusted-education agreement. Expected graduates must finish before entry and file the final graduation certificate
- KOREAN (all units, one of): TOPIK 3 or TOPIK IBT 3; King Sejong Institute intermediate 1 completed; the school's own WOW-TOPIK 3
- Science, engineering, arts and sport fields (이공계열 및 예체능계열, as printed): TOPIK 2 or King Sejong Institute beginner 2 is enough
- Language standards may change with the 교육국제화역량인증제 evaluation; anything the guide does not state is decided by the school's international exchange committee
- Selection: documents 40 points (financial papers, self-introduction, study plan, language) and an interview 60 points (understanding of the major, language, character), held on the round's 서류심사 및 구술고사 dates
- No online portal: download the form from the Global Education Support Center site and file the originals (a copy only after a staff member checks it against the original). The postmark on the deadline day counts
- Places: 적정인원 (an appropriate number), not a fixed quota. The schedule may change; changes are posted on global.woosuk.ac.kr
- TUITION, 2026 rates (2027 may change by school policy), from the guide's 수업료 table, which prints no period: humanities and social 3,939,700 (Early Childhood Special Education 4,039,700)
- Science and sport band 4,578,700; engineering, arts and emergency care band 5,094,200 (2026 rates, same table)
- NO ENTRANCE FEE (입학금) is printed in the undergraduate guide. Departments listed under an undeclared-major division (자율전공학부) show 3,939,700 in the freshman column and their own band in the transfer column
- Freshman units with no tuition row: Culinary and Bakery, AI Mobility Engineering, AI Convergence, Global Advanced Convergence, Architecture, and the sport undeclared-major divisions (체육자율전공학부). Ask before you budget
- Five transfer-only departments have no tuition row either (Media and Video, Mathematics Education, Counselling Psychology, Sports Marketing, Fashion Styling); they are listed on the humanities row
- Refund: all tuition back until the day before the semester starts; after classes begin the school's refund rules apply
- The International Studies division (국제학부, Jeonju and Jincheon) takes no freshmen in 2027 (guide note)
- Campuses: Jeonju campus is in Samnye-eup, Wanju-gun (Jeonbuk); Jincheon campus in Jincheon-gun (Chungbuk). The international office and the paper address are on the Jeonju campus; each unit's campus is in the majors list
